Iron Soul Gym

This is a great, no-frills place to get in a good lift with good people. The community is supportive and pretty much bro-free. The owner (Eric) is very helpful with tips on technique, and I've never had a problem with not being able to get access to a squat rack or a bench press. If you want a gym with barbells, weird strongman equipment, and couldn't care less about treadmills and other overpriced cardio equipment that unnecessarily drive up membership fees, this is the place for you.

This gym is awesome. Everything you need for any style of training. Great people. Great atmosphere. Great management. . . . . Anyone below that you see speaking evil of this gym have had bad experiences due to that fact that they were kicked out for being undesirable scumbags. This gym like any other experience, is what you make of it. The sky is the limit at IRON SOUL!

Decided to stop by here to train on a cross-country road trip. Absolutely loved the place. Had an amazing facility and the people were amazing. The owner was a truly great guy, and made a point of speaking with me and even gave me a free gym tank top. If I lived in Albuquerque, this would be my gym, no questions asked.

This gym has been a real eye opener to the fitness goals I didn't even know I wanted. I started here not knowing what I was doing and throughout all my workouts I have never once felt out of place. The people here are awesome and willing to help with anything you need. The owners are very genuine and kind people. Eric has been an amazing friend who is at the gym A LOT and never once hesitates with advice or support. Going to any gym can be intimidating for a newbie but speaking from my current experience I never thought any gym could be like this one. The equipment is perfect for what you need, very safe and in excellent shape. The people are what make this gym so amazing. Every time I walk into the gym I feel welcome and a part of the gym. If you train with the best you will be your best! Join this gym, you won't regret it.

BEST gym in NM. Owner is badass and really nice. They just moved to a bigger location. Spacious, lots of nice equipment, and nice gym members.

Best gym in ABQ! The Strongest peoplein the Southwest area train here and everyone that walks through the dooris family. If you wanna get strong this is the only place to be!

An adequate facility owned by one of the most dishonest and vindictive men in Albuquerque. Go here if you absolutely must, but be wary of false advertising, people insulting you behind your back and every lie that drips from the owner's mouth like so much drool. You'd be better off not going to the gym than going to a place like this.

Great choice for any serious lifter. I was traveling through Albuquerque and hoping to get some heavy squats in instead of working out at a hotel gym. Iron souls is the answer. Great staff, every piece of equipment a serious lifter could want, and a great atmosphere where you can make noise without raising an eyebrow. It was also only $10 for a day pass.

I came here with a friend who is a national record holder in powerlifting. Being my first experience with this type of gym I did not know what to expect, but the folks here were very receptive and gave me a great run through and explanation of some basic workouts. I have been going here ever since and always appreciate the tips I get from the staff and other gym members
