The best gym in town. 24/7 unlimited access. Has all the strength & powerlifting necessitiess. They even provide belts and lifting support gear.Eric the owner is geniune and makes you feel you belong. Serious lifters train here, but are very welcoming and helpful to beginners. The personal trainers are also helpful and I can tell they really push their clients to be the best.

Best Gym in Albuquerque. Eric the owner is very helpful and is always reinvesting in the gym. Very supportive of everyone from world class strength athletes to those that are just starting and looking for guidance.

This is the best powerlifting gym I've ever been to, and I've been to quite a few! They have many specialized bars: power, deadlift, squat, cambered, etc. Several deadlift platforms, power racks, Olympic lifting platforms, pound plates, kilo plates, bumper plates. Bands, chains, chalk, kettlebells, dumb bells up to 150 lbs. It's very easy to sign up and cancel, the monthly rate is super high-value at less than $40, and the members are positive and respectful. The owner is attentive and helpful. It's 24/7, good location, plenty of off-street parking. I have no shortage of great things to say about this gym.If you are into powerlifting, weightlifting, or strength training in general, this place is a no-brainer. The quality of ownership, equipment, and members easily exceeds any commercial gym.

This is by far the best strength training facility in Albuquerque, and very likely the whole state. Everything you need to get stronger is here. The equipment is all in great condition and the people are truly supportive. Any level of strength athlete is welcome here and will never feel intimidated. The owner is easy to get a hold of and a fantastic resource. If you hate big box gyms filled with uncaring, unknowledgeable staff and unnecessary machines, you owe it to yourself to come to this gym. It is open to ANYONE who wants to get stronger. I've been coming here for months and never had a better experience at a gym.

I've worked out in many places but have recently began getting serious about GAINING strength and power in my routine. Working with a great coach and in a supportive atmosphere at Iron Soul has helped me to correct and perfect my form and begin to build strength by lifting with power and to my fullest potential. It has been challenging, but if you're serious about your workout this is the place to root some foundation.

I've never experienced a more friendly and supportive gym environment. Unlike commercial gyms du jour, Iron Soul is more of a community where strength knowledge runs deep and is freely distributed. Management is top notch and sets a superior example for the membership. These words from the Iron Soul website says it all: "NO ONE WILL EVER BE INTIMIDATED HERE."

Short: Iron soul is the best gym ever!Medium: I played rugby, fitness is critical. I've been to many gyms all over the world. Iron soul is the best gym ever period.Long: My team was sponsored by iron soul so I joined (Ask about corporate deals/they also have coaches and can teach you how to lift). Iron Soul is always open and all members receive a key, but it is only staffed at certain hours. There is a really positive and welcoming atmosphere and every other member I've met is friendly and always willing to teach me and help me with form and lifting technique. Before I joined, I asked my friend on my team if they had kettle bells at Iron Soul. He informed Eric, the owner (whom is most friendly and knowledgeable and enthusiastic about powerlifting) and he purchased kettlebells that day before my first visit! There are many bars that I myself don't use, but someone at the gym will be able to tell you what they are for and how to use them properly, a sled and a turf track for it, many free weights ranging up so I that I don't use them for my workouts, there are atlas stones (which are heaps of fun), multiple deadlift platforms, squat racks, and bench presses (I've never seen them all occupied at once). If you're in Albuquerque and want to join a gym or you love powerlifting and want to lift at an incredible powerlifting gym, you have to go to Iron Soul.
