I visit Alexandria often and this is my go to gym. Great equipment. Clean. Good atmosphere. Awesome staff. Shoutout to the Asst. Manager Clayton, who helped me out today. He was super friendly and helpful. 10/10 gym.

Had a great experience at Onelife in Alexandria. The gym is very convenient to nearby hotels, and while traveling I had the opportunity to visit. Staff gave us a warm welcome and explained the layout to get us set up. All the equipment was clean and in great shape. I personally used the turf area for sled/sprint work and the cardio machines. Can’t say enough good things! I’ll be back next visit to Alexandria.

Hands down best gym in the area. There’s a lot of space and great equipment, particularly for powerlifting and bodybuilding work. The staff there are very helpful.

I am a digital nomad with roots in Old Town. Everytime I am back in town and need to get swoll, the kind people at this OneLife location give me a hybrid membership catered to my unique schedule. …

This gym is the best! It's everything you need for a great workout, and the environment is not intimidating. The staff is awesome, too!

The gym has everything you need! Front desk reps were also very kind and helpful. As a guest for the day, I am very excited to make this my new home gym!

I would give them 5 stars, the equipment is amazing, they have towel service and plenty of room but their sauna is outdated and doesn’t get hot enough and they don’t have any other spa amenities.

One of, if not THE, best gym in the entire DMV. Equipment is new and there’s tons of it, tons of free weights and benches and racks, and the staff are outstanding. This gym is the total package…it’s perfect.

It’s a decent gym for the price—basically a huge warehouse with machines with some added aesthetics. There is a separate yoga studio and an exercise studio, but there are very few classes. The class instructors don’t seem to be geared to explaining modifications of exercises. Sometimes they try to suggest something after they realize many people in the class cant do the exercises but it seems like if you aren’t already in shape, you will have to make up your own modifications because in general the instructors will not vocalize a modification. But for $40/mo it’s okay, I guess. What I am really unhappy about is the intro package. I was told to go to a “free intro session”. All that happened during that session is that I got on the fancy scale that they had and then they told me that if I wanted to use it again that it’s $70 each time and then asked me if I wanted to sign up for personal training sessions at approximately $100/session. When I said no. The “session” abruptly ended and I was told that if I wanted a sample personal training session that I would have to make another appointment. I’ve done these intro packages before at other gyms, and I have no idea why they would need to have TWO separate appointments. I was surprised. But I made the second appointment for the heck of it. And then the second appointment got canceled. Seems like they don’t really respect people’s time. Why would they have me come in just to weigh in and get a sales pitch and then have me come in a second time for the personal training session? I know people sometimes need to cancel sessions, but it’s really not a good impression when they already do that right off the bat. The whole process to this point seems quite disrespectful. They didn’t even apologize for canceling my session. They just said they had a “scheduling conflict” less than an hour before the scheduled session! I really got the impression they canceled my session because I didn’t seem like a potential buyer. And I would have even considered some personal training had they actually been professional and had something to offer other than wasting my time for no reason.
