The big, black dude with dreads, took a picture of an unauthorized user without my consent and didn’t ID this person to confirm that this is really their account and changed my whole account even though my bank account is linked to that account and my name is on the accountand canceled my membership on the spot when I went to go scan my barcode I will be having a talk with the general manager.

Price is fair. Atmosphere is conducive to a good workout. Unfortunately there seems to be a lot of equipment that is breaking down. I get it, lots of users. Unfortunately it is taking longer than usual to make repairs. One unit has been broken since November 2021 when someone discarded gum in the adjustment bar. Staff is friendly, Tyrone provides excellent customer service.

Clean gym, parking is nice, and the staff seem okay. I have been to a handful of Planet Fitness gyms in northern VA and this one is consistently (& by far) the busiest/most crowded I have ever been to. Even the crowd meter seems to not accurately show the quantity of people there. I have gone about 10 times so far and unfortunately have to leave without lifting half of the time. There simply isn't enough equipment/space for the number of gym goers at this location. You have to essentially wait in a line to use a machine that isn't optimal for the workout you want to do. Any squat rack or dumbbell bench will be taken when you get there during the week (regardless of morning or evening) and will not become open since the person on it knows they got lucky!

Planet Fitness is a great deal for a gym. It is low cost, clean, top notch equipment, friendly and helpful staff. and I love that it is open 24 hours.

There's one staff or owner idk in the front desk that always asks me if “I have my shoes in my bag” or “am I going to work out today” etc. What do you think I have in my bag? If I'm paying for a black card membership then why do you care? Why do you keep asking?! If I'm using something that my black card permits why do you care! This staff JUDGES you first!! Making me feel uncomfortable every time I enter. Black t-shirt dude in the picture!
