Super clean! Helpful staff! Greetings coming and leaving! The members of the gym are also very helpful to each other. It's great! I can honestly say I believe this Planet Fitness is a judgement free zone💪😀 …

Very clean facility. Friendly staff. Great hours - 24/7. Non-judgmental atmosphere works well here - no personal trainers allowed and have yet to see an obnoxious people in my six months as a member. Wide range of users, from elderly to younger set. As a plus, an Aldi's store is right next door so you can do shopping after a workout.

I go here to work out with my sister or best friend about once a week. The staff are very friendly and the environment is clean and varied. You can use the treadmill or elliptical machine, lift weights, take a free class if you're a member, or use the 30-minute workout area. Plus if you get sweaty afterwards, the showers are available in the locker rooms.

This planet fitness is definitely one of the better. I understand the "Lunk Alarm" but they do not over do it. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Every room and machine is clean. Every request is met promptly. Needless to say I can't complain. If I had to make a small critique, maybe more open floor space for warm ups and calisthenics? Otherwise love it!

This gym gets good reviews but they are poor communicators. The gym has been closed since Friday because of construction. We went to the gym this morning based on the fact that they said they would be open. Well they were closed, a guy was sitting outside telling everyone they were closed. No notice at all. We called today to find out if they were going to be open tomorrow. Will says "they are trying". I asked how we will be notified - he said email. Everyone gets an email that checked in during the last 90 days. Well we are there 6 out of 7 days and were there last Thursday to see a sign. Long and short, they don't sent notice. I told him this is crazy and we will consider moving to another gym - Will's response was "I can transfer you." Really - poor customer service.

Everybody here is great! They absolutely make you feel like you belong. I am a first time gym user and they have made me feel so good about myself. I don't feel that sense of intimidation or a sense of unachievable expectation. I see people of all walks of life, shapes, and sizes; I don't feel like I have to look over my shoulder and hide my body. It's a great starter gym for folks who want a place to just be themselves and get a great workout. I kind of stopped going due to my schedule, but they can definitely expect me back this week!My only slight issue is I wish there was a way to be able to leave my things overnight if need be. I carry a huge gym bag around because I usually take other things I may need depending on what time I go. It would just make my life a little easier but that doesn't influence my decision on the five stars. Seriously, I highly recommend this gym!

What is with the low reviews!? I joined three weeks ago and am very happy. The gym has ample equipment, even at peak times.Maybe the guy manager that people had bad experiences with has gone, because I have never seen a guy at the front desk...The WiFi works fine for things like Pandora, although you do need to login everytime you visit. I didn't know that and a lady at the front desk showed me how to get it to work, no problem. If people didn't realize this it may explain their WiFi issues...or maybe the WiFi was upgraded before I joined...The gym is also very clean and doesn't smell like some other gyms. I also noticed the patrons are good about cleaning up after themselves. And I've seen the staff cleaning equipment thoroughly on a few occasions already. For the money, it simply can't be beat. If you want features like pools or indoor running tracks, then sign a contract with another gym and pay the $50+ month they charge. One month at other gyms is nearly half a year of the dues for the basic planet fitness membership, which requires no contract! All things considered, I prefer to stick with planet fitness!!!

This gym is completely worth the money. It isn't drowning in tools fighting for space in front of the mirrors, it has all types. It's rarely crowded. Broken equipment gets fixed quickly. The staff is pleasant and have never bothered me. I can't believe people are on here stating "no towel service", it's $10/month fool. It's clean. -1 star for useless wifi, but thankfully I have cell service.

I've been working out at the Kenmore Ave. location in Alexandria, VA. I signed up for the black card membership which only cost me 20 bux. But in all honesty that price cut comes with a great deal of Extremely poor customer service! I have a lot of patience with people. In fact I have worked retail all my life. I have never seen customer service so bad anywhere else. People would pay for something that comes with excellent customer service. When I first heard about Planet Fitness's cheap membership, I thought it sounded too good to be true. And it took me only one week (not much), of going to the gym, to realize that it is in fact too good to be true. That price comes at the expense of customer service. So if you don't care about how an employee treats you, then this is your place to be. But I highly doubt people would wanna pay for horrible customer service year after year.
