Neezam Jiu Jitsu School / Checkmat Anaheim

This is a great place to learn and train JiuJitsu. I tried other schools before but all of them felt like they just wanted to beat you up. If you’re new to JiuJitsu, this is the place to be at. The coaches will train you in the basics step by step. Everyone is very friendly and the coaches will motivate you to keep pushing yourself to be a better person. If you want to learn JiuJitsu for self defense or competition this is the best place to be at.

I started training at Neezam at the start of last year for their 6 week Warrior Challenge and kept coming after completing it.Classes are super fun with a great team of coaches who challenge and encourage us to be our best on and off the mats.Would highly recommend Neezam for anyone looking to try BJJ!

I was a bit intimidated at first since I’m not the most athletic or the strongest but the way the professors break down each move and help you understand each movement and why you’re making those movements makes it all worth it! Everyone there just wants you to improve. The family environment makes it easier to come back each time. I love the all women classes and the gym is clean clean clean! They have someone in there cleaning up the mats and sanitizing. Best jiu jitsu gym in the area!

Leaders is what people look for when searching for a great school in Martial Arts. The opportunity to learn to be healthy and grow in the knowledge of self defense and discipline. Children need a great school like Neezam Jiu-Jitsu. Professor Saeed and Juan are leading the way as examples of great team work. It's a great environment..great teammates and overall a great atmosphere to be a part of. I'm appreciative I found this school and hope many others will join.

Saeed is a very decorated and accomplished coach. His medals and experience in the sport prove so. Learning from him is an honor. The environment at the academy is like one big family, we learn, grapple, laugh and roll! Very clean place esthetically and literally. Highly recommend for beginners, and even advanced athletes! It’s definitely a place you’d love to train at✊🏻

This gym was so welcoming from day one. I felt like i was part of a family. This is hands down the best training place for adults and kids. There is something for everyone, whether you want to compete, get in shape, or just challenge yourself to learn something new. I highly recommend Neezam. <3

The coaches here Said & Juan are class acts. Both BJJ black belts and champions. They make you feel extremely comfortable when training and are honest with you 100% of the time. Whether you are new to the sport or experienced the environment at Neezam is perfect for you. Even though you're in a class with multiple other students Said & Juan do a great job of making you feel like they are working directly with you. After a few weeks you'll become addicted. After a few months you'll have a new family and friends. I would give this place 10 stars if I could.

This gym is fantastic! The staff is well trained and professional. They accommodate all sorts of schedules and have a multitude of classes ranging from all ages and expertise. The owner is always engaged and helpful and the classes are full of great information, training in proper form, mindfulness, and self defense. I would recommend coming here to anyone who is looking to learn and definitely recommend to anyone you know!! Awesome place!

I’ve been coming to this school for about a year and it’s crazy the immediate bond created between with the faculty and peers, they make sure everyone is like family. They teach discipline, strength, and attention. All skills that I use outside the gym. I appreciate everyone at Neezam since they’ve helped me grow as a person mentally and physically. The facility itself is kept clean and is a great environment for all. A great place to test ones capability and learn skills needed for the real world!

This place is a great place to learn jujitsu! Great environment and you really feel like you are learning new skills everyday. Perfect place to learn martial arts and self defense. Plus you get a great workout!
