Clean up around the free weights area is coming along, basketball court is a little slick here and there, but everything appears to be coming along quickly. After the earthquake, staff has had their hands full and they have really come together to help guests and continue to make it a worthwhile visit.

It's a good gym, they have a fair amount of options to suit your exercise needs. The staff are quiet but friendly, although there are a few who will go out of their way to get to know you.

The Alaska Club is a great place to come to the gym. It has a very friendly atmosphere. There are many treadmills, and a weight room as well. There is a track, upstairs, and a pool for kids. There is a kid zone, if you need to drop your kid off. There is a racquetball room, basketball room, and zoomba classroom. There is also a little bitty kid drop off zone for toddlers. This place does require a MEMBERSHIP. The membership is definitely worth it though.

I went here and was leaving when the gym was about to close. A lady with long brown hair and pink converse (I believe her name was Caitlynn) scanned some Gatorade for me even though I’m sure it was an inconvenience because it was about 10 minutes till they closed. I also noticed that she was very helpful and cheerful to everyone that was leaving! Left me feeling very good about the staff at the Alaska club! :)

I mean it’s a work out place which is fine. The reason the cost is so high is because of the amenities. My wife is always complaining because the sauna is always broken. The hydro massage chair is always broke. To be charging me 150$ a month I expect things to be in working order. Where is all the money going? Certainly not in the equipment. Staff is nice and the machines are ok.

The absolute worst experience in a gym. Rude, careless employees. Terrible, Rude, disrespectful management who don't care about their customers. Waste of money. $180 per month is outrageous! Dont get stuck in this situation, trust me. If the gym has a COMPLETE new staff, maybe! These people are prejudiced against fat people. Be careful.

I was in town for a couple weeks and was eating the 15$ day passes. The front desk recognized me and took it upon themselves to hook me up with a week pass for a great price. After the pass expired I went back to see if the membership manager, Cecil, could do anything for me. This time he gave me an even better deal. Great people, great gym! 5 stars

The membership fees for the Alaska Club are a little pricey but you really do get a lot for your money. If you know you will attend classes, swim, or do your own work out at least 5 times a month it is very much worth the money. My kids especially love the play area. Which is helpful when I am trying to get in a quick workout.

Be Careful! I inquired about a 90 day trial. Signed up and knew there were quotas I had to meet in order to avoid the $500 membership fee at the end. (go so many times and have a physical). When it came time to a physical NO ONE would …
