I got a membership here to shower (I live without running water) didn't have much of a choice but I got one here because 1. It's near my job and 2. It's open 24/7 now i get off at midnight so theres not much in terms of options for me but i digress the prices are extremely expensive at $109 a month for a single person and they lock you into a year long contract and charge you $200 to cancel not sure what ill do if im fired it may be easier to withdrawl all my money just so i dont need to deal with it but on that note u best be sure you're on your best behavior did you desrespect the equipment fined $50 did you have a verbal altercation $50 fine did you forget to shower before swimming $50 of course im exaggerating a tad but they can and will fine you gor every rule break they save your bank into their system so u dont have a say whatsoever this is a very predatory business practice but like i said i didnt have much of a choice

Paris was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. She was accommodating of my schedule and physical limits (post partum). I learned a lot that I'll take to the mat with me on future gym visits!

Jariel was so awesome with the tour, communication skills are up to par very respectful and awesome very positive as well and supportive of one another’s goals. South side gym is very beautiful clean the daycare stuff is amazing as well highly recommend

Has the condition of the cardio equipment gotten any better. I quit going to this gym in 2018 because I got tired of about 1/3 of it malfunctioning, and when you brought it to attention of staff they acted like they cared but that was an act as issues never got resolved. Upon driving by this place yesterday it appears they are trying to impress people with an outdoor air pavilion.

The Alaska Club South/Summit is a great facility. The staff are always welcoming, the facility is clean, and they have ample varieties of workout machines and accessories.The personal training is also great! I've had a few trainers at the gym, but currently I train with Dayton. He's a wonderful trainer who tailors the activities to my individual goals and abilities. A very warm and kind person who clearly has the knowledge and skillsets to be an experienced trainer.

I have been a member of the Alaska Club for many years. Their family plans are very frustrating. I was on a Family plan and paid $104 a month, when my daughter turned 14 they increased the fee to $160 a month. This is ridiculous, most gyms don’t start charging more until the kids are at least 16, but mainly 18. The other issue is that the back room, where there are loose weights is always really dirty. The floor always has thick dust all over.

I love being a member of AK Club! All of the amenities they offer are great! Staff is always friendly and welcoming! My kids love the play centers and the pools! The cardio equipment is top notch and it’s always very clean! I highly recommend AK Club for a judgment free, feel good, family-time facility that my family and I enjoy being a part of!

I workout at the Alaska Club South location! I have had great customer service here! The staff has been been wonderful to me and I really appreciate the personal training program they have here! Especially, Mary Anna, she is absolutely wonderful as a trainer, she pushes you to be better and is very dedicated to your personal goals. I’m so grateful of her flexibility/communication with scheduling around my work hours!

This club is improving! I went in today and the sauna was rocking. The new 24 hr piece is pretty incredible. The only reason it’s not a five star review is the cleanliness and upkeep of the men’s locker room. It needs a once over at least every few hours especially now. Toilet seat is not attached properly which is poor in appearance/function. Lastly the 24 hour piece without the amenities like the sauna at least is a heartbreaker. Keep on improving AK club.

I am Here everyday and I am very happy with this gym. Customer service is prompt when there is an issue and the summit is beautiful. My son loves going to the childcare area - shout-out to Cassie and Stephanie, they are always so friendly and welcoming
