A very MID gym with very few chest presses (3!) with the audacity to not offer a refund 2 days after processing an annual fee for a MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP ONLY TWO MONTHS IN.Nothing against the normal staff, but I cannot recommend enough to go elsewhere instead of this place.A well deserved one star.

I was visiting from out of state and needed a good workout while away. Beautiful gym with great amenities. Jumped into a spin class because I LOVE spin. The room was clean and inviting, the bikes are awesome, and best of all the instructor Libby was amazing. Wish I lived closer. I'll be back next time I'm in town. See you then Libby!!

Way too populated not a bad gym but not the best either.I’ve decided to go workout at 5 am every morning in order to have time and space to workout comfortably.I only go to this gym because it’s the most cheapest and fair in price.Bathrooms are probably the worst and odor of the place is crazy during the afternoon. If you have a higher budget or better options go for it but if you’re on a low budget this gym is pretty decent for the price. The staff are very kind and respectful towards me too.Only issue I always had was the guest identification I’ve had a few times where they couldn’t find my id and I had to search in the ID card box to find my own.So the arrangement for ID cards is pretty badly besides that 3/5 gym in my opinion not the best not the worst.Too populated, and odor gets bad at times, bathrooms often times need a cleaning.EDIT : Gym equipment and variety of options has improved tons. Thanks alot.Still gets very packed but I’m enjoying the new renovation

Has lots of equipment and lots of space! If you have a planned workout, have a plan B. Because there is always a college kid on it that doesn’t know gym courtesy. Also, facility is not clean, including the bathrooms. I have seen the same hair clip in one of the showers for 3 days. Clumps of hair, dust, and dirt in every corner of the gym. The best thing I can say about this gym is the employees, most of them are very friendly and helpful!

Very rude aggressive and what it honestly felt like borderline racist management. Tried to go in for a 7 day trial pass and basically got harassed/ accused by the store manager ( tall white middle aged fella think his name was Andrew. Not sure on the name) accusing “people like me to be doing shady things” because I have been to that gym once months ago with my roommate ( which I told him as I was speaking with him). A simple, “ sir we can’t honor this because you have visited us before” would have sufficed. But no, the manager went as far as threatening to call the police. Relax dude, it’s a gym pass. Not even at a good gym at that. Their cable row machines, incline bench was broken the one time I visited. And my roommate often talks about the gym being very overly crowded and having to wait for machines constantly. But hey, it’s summer, I live close by and I needed gym for the summer so I decided to give them a shot. Boy was that a mistake. When I said, I am just using this pass for the week and plan to get a membership I was laughed off. the disbelief and lack of genuine respect for one human to another showed strong on that mans face. Almost as if I am a second class citizen. Tried to be civil and have a conversation but just got threaten and harassed more by the manager. I will admit it was astounding/ hilarious to see a grown man at his age and position to be that unprofessional and have zero sense of social/ interpersonal skills. Management/ employee needs better customer relations training. Or at least employees that can treat others with some self respect because what I experienced was just disgusting/ nasty behavior.

Originally, this was the greatest gym that I have ever been to, after traveling through 10 different states, and staying at over 50 different 24-hour gyms, crunch by far was definitively the best that I'd ever been to, and consistent. However, during and after the pandemic, the previous owners sold to a new owner, who apparently did not feel that quality was worthwhile, and overtly. The gym became very cheap feeling, multiple pieces of equipment we're constantly broken, souring the entire experience, and ultimately not even making it worthwhile $10 a month.

I went to this gym during the summer while I was away from school. I train solo and do body building- bench, squats, deadlifts, free weights and cables. This gym has all of that and more covered.Overall I really liked it. It can definitely get crowded so I personally would go at midday or after 9 PM. Sometimes weights are disorderly and some machines can be broken for a while, but overall I felt like I could get in great workouts here. I would personally sign up again in the future if I end up back in Athens.

EDIT:--Since I made this review, this gym has seen some much appreciated changes. While I personally can't speak to the over-crowded issue just yet, the gym has added a lot of new equipment and is changing some of the layout. I applaud the radical, needed change!--I want this gym to succeed... I really do. But it seems like this gym has a problem with crowds.. Granted, they do offer plenty of free sign up deals, but this comes at the cost of an over-crowded gym. As mentioned in other reviews, you should have a plan-B with every intentioned workout. Quite often do I find myself strolling in, and discovering that all of the machines are inundated with people having trouble focusing on the actual workouts instead of being immersed in their phones and oblivious to the world, or general gym etiquette. For the price, you can't beat it, but lately there have been worker shortages, as well, which leads one to wonder about what is being done with the money that they are making from the ridiculous number of people that are in the gym at times? They have done absolutely NOTHING to curtail the crowd since it has opened, and I have been a member since before this branch officially opened. In fact, sometimes the staff actually contribute to the crowd problem by scheduling classes at the times of rush hours. I can not understate how frustrating this can be, as these classes take large swaths of areas, of which, if you were planning to do any other exercises that aren't weight lifting, you're going to have a bad time (unless you signed up for the class). They have added a few new equipment in this time since opening, but they have not opened any new branches in the area, or expanded the building, or anything that would alleviate this problem of too many people. Otherwise it's a pretty decent gym, but this issue causes people (like myself), that are in a hurry at times and need to "hello/goodbye" a workout, to just skip days entirely.

I’ve had my membership here for over 2 years. The equipment is great, the staff is helpful and friendly. I joined this gym because they were 24 hours and that worked great with my work schedule. Now because of Covid, they’ve cut hours, which really affects me and plenty of other gym goers who work irregular hours. They keep saying “next month we’ll go back to 24 hours”, but they’ve been saying that for 4 months! They would definitely have a 5 star review if they would go back to 24 hours!

I had been trying to get in touch with the manager, Cassidy, regarding cancelling my membership because I no longer live in Athens. Finally got in touch with her and she didn't even say "hello" or just speak in general. When she answered the phone she was speaking in a very rude/condescending tone. So I returned the energy! That's so unprofessional and it took everything in me not to go to another level. Then I informed her about something one of the employees told me, and she tried to question it like I wasn't telling the truth or something. The regular gym attendants/employees are way nicer whenever I call and someone answers. It's unprofessional as a manager/ someone who is running an establishment, period. I'll never get another membership at any crunch.
