Planet fitness is a low cost gym and that is perfect considering what we all are going through. The gym is clean and maintained hourly, for safety and the prevention of germ transfer. Masks are required while in the gym. I have been attending the university place location for about a month and a half now since reopening and am happy to report no covid related issues. Over all a great place to exercise.

Great gym. Its Peaceful they have a good respectful team lots of equipment and its never really crowded. Lots of ppl go there just its so big it doesnt seem full like you dont have to wait for someone to get of a machine. Im looking to loose 70 lbs and gain more strength in my foot and ankle after my injury.

Love planet fitness and its staff Pedro at the front desk and the others are always so efficient and the courtesy they show guests is top notch! Pedro always converses and is extra polite and look forward to saying hello when I come in.

I really love the gym but there was one thing I didn't like. After a long workout last night around 10:40pm I went to take a shower and as I was getting dressed in the locker room two men came in and started cleaning around me. Thank goodness I had my top and pants on but I was still putting on my sweater and my socks wondering how long or if they were peeking in to see if I was done. Usually they are women who clean the women's locker room but the men coming in there and cleaning as I'm in there getting dressed was inappropriate.

Clean great customer service. Classes are back and black card member percs are all active the stand up tanning beds are hot and work great $20 a month to be able to tan every 24 hours with that grade of a tanning bed plus a jet message table or chair is well worth the extra 10 for membership

The people at the front desk are always making sure that everyone at the gym are using their face mask and not slamming the weights. They are cautious about the garbage, paper and sanitizer of the cleaning stations. And they also sanitize the equipments, the floor and all places that are frequently touched by all gym members, which provides a sense of security.

The gym itself is fine. It's generally clean, the insight staff are kind and courteous, and there are lots of great workout options. The issue is that planet fitness proves to be the slimy gym stereotype we have all heard before. First they charge during months that are phase 1 and should not be open. It's hard to get them to fix that "oversight" then months later they charge you an annual fee. They acknowledge they weren't open and they give you an extra month before charging it despite being closed to access for far longer. I should pay a yearly fee when you give a years worth of product. Now here is the fun part. Are you you trying to cancel, change, or generally get answers? Well you can't get account access help from the local club, you have to call corporate, who knows closes at 1pm eat monday-friday. Idk, I'm working at that point and don't have an hour to sit on the phone while you try to talk me out of changes or sell me things. But I can't call after work because nobody will be there despite having so many west coast locations. Very disappointing experience.

I'm telling you the truth people people if you haven't been to this planet fitness facility the staff is awesome they greet you as soon as you walk in the door and they will wish you and you're going out the door they're very considerate of knowing you as an individual not just as a member but as an individual person and as soon as I walk in the door they know what I'm there for and they cater to me and I admire the team at this facility bit time it just keeps me coming back every single day to see their smiles light up when I walk in the door and to have them see my smile when I leave the facility.It totally awesome place to be and especially if you are a black card holder get in that massage room get in that massage bed get in that massage chair oh my gosh them things feel so darn good each and every time without fail.

It's been a nice place to come. Nice staff, clean and sanitized. Great prices, love the massage chairs.

I was so scared to join a gym. But when I realized my health and wellness needed to come first, I went for it. My husband and I joint PF in University Place because it was just 5 minutes up the road from us. But also because it was so inexpensive and offered so much.I haven’t had one issue with going there. There is so many machines that even at busy times, you can find something to us. I LOVE the hydro massage beds with the Black card membership and the ability to bring a guest with every time!
