The Archetype Boxing Club is a wonderful place to learn boxing. The Martial arts like boxing, MMA are not popular in China and it was my first time to have access to boxing in this club. After 3 beginner classes, I found I'm interested in boxing and all the coaches there are very nice and professional. Until now, I have been practicing boxing there for a half year, I love boxing so much since it gives me so many benefits like confidence, dare to challenges, good lifestyle and so on. I'm very happy to learn boxing under the guidance of Sean, Tyson and all the coaches in Archetype boxing club. Besides, all the other guys learning boxing there are very friendly. It's not just a gym, it's also a wonderful community that people help improve each other.

Archetype is not just any boxing gym. Sean and team (Natalie, Tyson, Lauren, etc.) put care into ever detail, and the difference really shows in a million subtle ways. You can see it in the way coaches instruct, providing guidance but never too much that it gets in the way. Coaches know how to give high quality guidance. Instead of negative low information guidance "you're doing it wrong, fix X," coaches give positive, high information guidance "you're crushing it, change X you'll be able to doge faster."You can see it in the team composition. There's a high instructor:student ratio (depending on the class between 1:5 and 1:10) ensuring there's always someone around to guide if you need. It's usually the same people too, so always a familiar face. I deeply appreciate how patient and respectful all the coaches are to everyone, regardless of skill level. You can see it in the diverse skill levels of folks who come to class. Beginners are welcome, supported and celebrated. There are classes for different skill levels (3 levels), giving each skill level something which pushes them. You can see it in the way people interact with each other. I was pleasantly surprised by the high implied level of trust between folks. You can see it on the smile on people's faces when they come and go.There are business which target scale and value extraction over all else and there's business where the operators obsess over every detail, focus on creating value and care about making the lives of the people who they take money from better, this is the latter.Sean, Natalie, Tyson, Lauren, Cory and everyone else involved here have created something magical, a place where people come and learn how to be better people, not just in the ring, not just at throwing punches.

I've been coming to Archetype for about 3 months and am having the best time! The staff here are excellent--Tyson, Sean, and Natalie--are all super welcoming and friendly, especially for beginners like myself. And it's not only the staff. There's a real nice community aspect to this place and it's one of the friendliest gyms/studios I've been to. The sport of boxing itself is a lot of fun. It's a challenging workout, both mentally and physically, which I really appreciate. No matter your skill level there is something for you here. Couldn't recommend it highly enough!

I have been going to Archetype for about 2 months now and my experience has been absolutely fantastic. Since the very first class, the instructors have all been super friendly and welcoming. Every class is such a learning experience and an excellent way to learn proper boxing technique while getting a satisfying and fun workout. Any time I fall behind or lose rhythm, the instructors are there to give me pointers in a way that shows me they genuinely care about my progress. I'm very excited to continue going to this gym.If you are someone who is looking to start/improve at boxing, or someone who is just looking for a very satisfying and fun workout, I can't recommend Archetype enough.

One of the few boxing gyms that I've been to where they teach boxing skills and have a variety of equipment for everyone to use! It's not just a gym where you get to hit against a bag... would highly recommend for anyone wanting to actually learn boxing technique

I recently found Archetype and it’s changed the game for me! All the coaches are so supportive and encouraging, making sure you’re always improving. Good for life-long learning, beginners, advanced students, etc. I thought going to a boxing gym would be intimidating as I had no experience, but they are so welcoming and the best at teaching.

Been going to Archetype since they opened. Had to take 9 months off due to having to recover from surgery. But came back a couple months ago and it’s only gotten better. The instructors have always been amazing. Really knowledgeable but approachable. But the classes have really evolved over time into amazing workouts. The combination of learning and technique with the flat out hard workout is top notch. I lost almost 10 pounds in 1 month and feel fit again. I’m thankful to the crew there for helping me reach my fitness and health goals. At 52 years old I’m feeling 32 and strong. Thanks guys and gals at Archetype. I recommend them for anyone at any level to get fit and have fun as well! Always a great laugh also.
