Gold's Gym Austin Anderson Arbor

Been coming here for years. Love this gym and it's staff. Michael is my guy when it comes to making the best shakes around.

Love this gym. Free weights, machines, treadmills, a cardio gym, classes, a pool, hot tub, childcare area, and sauna all for a really fair price.

Overall the gym is clean and people are friendly. The men's sauna on the other hand is one of the most unsanitary mainly because of the floor padding that traps bacteria and whatever else is lurking causing the odors. Look to Golds other facilities for the solution.

I was hoping they wouldn't pull the same BS they always do and continue to charge me even after I cancelled my membership over a month ago. I went against my better judgement and hoped the new management would actually do a better job. I was wrong.

My husband and I are glad to be with gold's. They are a great gym. Lots of equipment for even the busy days. And there are rooms for my husband to practice his Cyr wheel. (Don't know what that is, follow @aerialjim on Instagram)

This particular location has the benefit of a personal trainer there named Ken. He is exactly what you want a trainer to be. He has the physique that tells you he practices what he preaches and he's extremely knowledgeable about diet and exercise. It also helps that he's personable and humorous.The gym itself is kept in pretty good order. I've only ever seen one or two of the more frequently used machines (treadmills, elipticals) out of order at a time.

Management here is the worst. I came to talk to them about my membership cancelation. This “manager” that i talked to was completely rude to me and was being such a racist. He acted like i was dumb. I cannot believe they let people like that run the place. I am very disappointed with the management. I would not recommend gold’s gym for anyone!!! Dont come here! There are better places to work out. By the way, my problem was not resolved. I have to go to another location to talk to another manager because this guy was so rude.

Josh Snyder is nice and helpful. Dylan is the hardest working man! Since Dylan started working at this gym, we noticed that the gym has gotten a lot cleaner. We don't get to talk to him because he's working hard all the time, but we truly appreciate his hard work.

I love this Gold's Gym. It feels comfortable for anyone. Age, weight, and looks matter less here than some gyms. People of all walks and typed are welcome. Lots of couples work out here. So my husband and I like that atmosphere.They have GREAT EQUIPMENT! Its clean and there are enough different machines and stations to hold many many people in the gym even if it's a busy day.

Staff friendly. Too many people on free weights in evening...frustrating! Not the cleanest men's bathroom.
