I cancelled my family account back in October of 2019. My daughter (under 18) was "attached" to my account and I made it clear that I wanted the entire account cancelled. Five (5) months later and multiple phone calls to both the Bee Cave gym, the Associate Manager, and corporate, they are still bombarding my email saying my account is overdue for my daughter's membership. I was told they would handle it, but it has never happened. Customer service? The WORST! If I could post this one zero stars, I would.

I was very disappointed in this Gold’s location. I provided feedback to Management on a few occasions and they didn’t care, offered some lame excuse, or blamed it on maintenance or corporate. Recently, Management reached out and solicited feedback. They actually seem to care now. I’ve noticed a few improvements and have adjusted my rating to 3 stars (from 1 star) as a result. If I notice continued improvement, I’ll adjust the rating again.

Pretty standard Gold's, maybe a bit smaller than some of the others I've been to. Front desk staff are usually nice. Locker room clean.I like that the cardio is upstairs, above the weight equipment. Plenty of free weights: plate machines and Cybex style stack machines. They have some Freemotion equipment and a Jacob's ladder as well. There are two full cable machines to do flys, etc but you can't use them in that way because either one side or the other is closed for covid.Slowest time as of the writing of this review seems to be, surprisingly, 4-6pm. After 6:30 it gets pretty crowded until close at 9.

I like it here. The place is constantly clean and updated. I wish that they didn't constantly announce the same thing over and over and over using the intercom but I'm sure it's some kind of company policy. The people don't bother you and the place is clean. Working out with a mask on sucks but if you don't have a home gym what else are you gonna do?

Definitely the best Gold's Gym around Austin. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The equipment is up-to-date and the sauna is pretty ideal.

Has a large variety of different machines you gotta love Gold's not the cleanest place in the world definitely has plenty of iron. Sauna is out of the movie of the lambs super dirty and cold. You better make a new checking account for this business because it’s easier to get WiFi in prison then to have them take you off your credit card

The facilities themselves are fine. But it’s filled with what seems like high school or college students. They make the experience very uncomfortable (and I’m not even that much older than they are). It’s the behavior that’s ridiculous — not just talking loudly, but taking photos IN THE LOCKER ROOM WHILE PEOPLE ARE UNDRESSING! Isn’t that illegal?!?!?! (I’m not even talking just one person either; it’s like a gym for kids.) I won’t be back to this location. I don’t know why it attracts such a disrespectful crowd, but I’ve never experienced this in a gym franchise.

I tried signing up with the recent Black Friday promotion of getting two months free membership. I got the details from stopping by the Bee Cave Gold's Gym. Later, I was pressing for time so I signed up online (since the online Gold's Gym portal says the same promotional deal). I received a contract after signup and the date of my billing was wrong (it shortened the free membership by 17 days). I called the gym within hours and even offered to cancel the contract and come in to do one through the Bee Cave Gold's Gym. They said they would log a ticket to take care of it. After waiting for a week (call-in Monday and received response Friday), I was told it can not be done since I had signed up online.I explained to the membership specialist that if he did not even know the online signup would cut off the promotional deal, how am I supposed to know? It says the same thing for online promotional deal (just like what I was told in the Bee Cave Gold's Gym). I am left with the status of "We don't know and are not sure it can be fixed". I felt deceived and really was looking forward to have this membership and using the facilities. I do not know why Gold's Gym would be so irresponsible and deceiving on their online membership signup portal.

Only thing missing is a pool, otherwise this gym meets my wife and my needs. My wife loves the aerobic classes especially the pump class. I'm pretty much just into the bike and treadmill for aerobic and weight machines. They have Gold's and large free weight area fit for the serious workouts. There is child care and a small women's only area. There is a large staff of trainers , some of whom has been there longer than the 13 years I've been going.

I give this two stars because I expected more from the Westlake location of golds gym. It is pressed into a large shopping center with limited parking. The gym is small with the serious folk having to shimmy by one another. The plumbing is horrible. The men's sinks are barely working and hot water comes & goes. Only a few showers and 2 out of order. No basketball. The water area is very nice, however. This should be the signature location but besides the pool area it reaches far short.
