Planet Fitness

My gym of choice is planet fitness on Westgate, however I've recently visited the gym on slaughter and it was a great experience and very well kept. Keep up the amazing work

I like how most of the time the staff are kind and friendly and are not in your business. There is a lot of choice in equipment and only every now and then are some of the machines down. I like how I can go in there and do my thing without judgement. The only cons I would say is we need more weight lifting racks and less high knees machines.Update: for the love good God give us more smithing machines.

I love all of the TV screens with news and cartoons. I also appreciate it being open 24/7 and always having an employee working the front desk. It gives me a sense of security knowing someone is watching the cameras or checking people in. If I was to change something it would be the area to lay out a yoga mat and do some stretches or crunches is pretty much non existent. There is no dedicated space to just lay out your mat, I always feel a little awkward placing it wherever there is an open space, but I'm also kind of in the way.

Andrea Was just great to work with she really knows here stuff! The Gym was really clean as you can tell she does a great Job! She needs a good raise $ for all of the hard work!

12/23/22: Following my Google Review, mngt. at Planet Fitness issued a check to reimburse me for their bogus late fees. Consequently I have updated my review to 3 Stars.--------------------------The facility itself is OK, not great but for the price an excellent value. However, their customer service is poor and their bookkeeping terribly shoddy. They have twice charged me for late fees even though they caused the late fees by not charging my credit card on time. The first time, instead of making the correction themselves, they told me to dispute the charge with Visa. I did and won. A month later the recharged me for that same Late Fee. This time they first claimed they issued a refund. They didn't. Then they said they mailed me a check. They didn't do that either. So I've again disputed their bogus late fee.

I was deciding between this Planet Fitness and the LA Fitness across the street and the reviews/photos other folks posted on LA's page were a huge turn off. The sauna was something I was interested in but apparently it's been busted for half a year.Went with Planet Fitness in the end and haven't regretted it yet. The people working here are very welcoming and always wiping or spraying something down. The machines get fixed pretty quickly, and I haven't had problems with any of the other guests. Can't ask for more than that.

Elissa and Laurie were very friendly. Made my first vist here amazing. Thx for the ear buds and bag purchase today. I'm so glad you had those available. You two were a life saver!!! See you next workout!

Very clean facility. Very friendly staff. I live the hydra massage chair. It's a little reward to myself after my workout.

This gym is great for what it is. If you just need to work out and you're not at pro level this gym hits the spot. The facilities are bare bones, but again... for <15 a month it gets the job done

I like working out at this PF due to its proximity to my home and the great selection of equipment they have. Im starting to dislike all the weight slamming I've been seeing and hearing. One guy this week on the torso twist machine was slamming the weights so hard I thought for sure he was going to break the machine. This is so annoying to listen to and people like him have no respect for other people working out next to him. Its not my place to confront him and tell him to stop. I would like to see the employees please keep a listen for this type of behavior and stop it immediately . I will bring it to their attention if I ever experience this again. Maybe some signs should be put on the walls to remind people this behavior will not be tolerated.
