I’ve been with the CrossFit Bridge City family for several years and I am blessed with knowledgeable coaches that care for everyone the same ... but coach, train and mentor individually to meet the needs of that person. Over the years, I have faced illness, injury (non CF related) and life events that have caused me to scale back on work outs, find new movements or just simply not make time for the workout. CFBC coaches have been there every step of the way to encourage and create sustainable exercise... not only for the body, but for the mind as well. This staff has a passion for the health of their community.

I haven’t personally worked out at this gym, but I did do the nutrition program with Carrie. I would highly recommend her for any help with your nutrition needs. She checked in with me weekly, and helped me set realistic goals every week that I have been able to build on and stick with! I enjoyed that she cared and helped me adjust as I needed to with my schedule and how I was feeling mentally and physically.

As a physical therapist, I had a negative attitude towards CrossFit. A friend convinced me to check out CrossFit Bridge City and I’m so glad I did! I’ve been a member now for 4 years. A big focus is on the athlete as a whole, peak athletic performance, nutrition, injury prevention, and recovery. The trainers are extremely knowledgeable, highly motivated, professional, and just awesome people to be around. They are eager to help, will to take time with you to modify your workout appropriately to prevent injuries or in order to meet your goals. They understand what you are striving for and they WILL get you there, all while having fun and in a safe environment.The gym has an awesome energy, is family oriented, and is an overall fun place to hang out. I love how the gym also finds community outreach important and offers many opportunities for community involvement with events, some free of charge! If you’re looking for a gym to call home or if you’re passing through town, this is definitely the place you don’t want to miss!

1 year ago I was in the market for a personal trainer to help me get stronger. I was suffering with Arthritis throughout my body and out of shape. I signed on with Bridge City CrossFit and have been a regular weekly participant since last October. My strength has increased tremendously. My arthritis is a lot more manageable. I am stronger than I have been in years and the inches continue to fall off. My life has been changed for better.

I started my weight loss by myself in our garage- I was successful on my own for a while- lost over 60 pounds. But a year and a half in, I hit a wall- I wasn’t enjoying my workouts. After talking with CrossFit members at BC, I realized I may be missing something- FUN!I also realized how much I enjoy not having to plan my own workouts! I just have to show up- I show up and I’m set in motion by one of their fantastic coaches! 3 months in... I lose 5 inches on my waist!?I’ve had two major knee surgeries, and all of my worries were put to rest when I knew how much modification can take place- they literally can modify anything for anybody!If you’re on the fence, trust me, jump it and come be apart of our CrossFit Family!
