Good inexpensive gym, was kept clean even before covid Relatively well stocked, if they replaced one of the smith machines with a power rack it would free up traffic (kinda small free weight area). Overall nice gym that is very well priced, month to month, and well maintained equipment that should be replaced in the nearish future.

Update 13 Dec 2019: after canceling my contract at Crunch, I joined another gym. It cost a bit more than crunch, but totally worth it. I don't have to wait in line anymore, and I don't get bump from equipment for personal trainers. Compare to my new gym and others I tried out, Crunch is seriously overcrowded.Read the reviews before signing any contract! This gym is perfect if you like cardio. They have every cardio equipment that is only used 10% of the time.Unfortunately, for being a gym, their free weight area is small and weak. If you like lifting weights, you will have to wait in line. This will drain your motivation as you look at all the unused cardio equipment and wonder why Crunch did not make their free weight section bigger. The free weights they do have are old and falling into disrepair.I guess they are just trying to cater to soccer mom's...

One of the best gyms ive been to. Very affordable, clean and updated gym, excellent workout classes/teachers, and more. I love how clean and sanitary the gym is. I went to the classes that are free that comes with the membership. I can say they changed my life and taught me how to work out on my own when i want to workout when a class isn't aligned with my schedule. The class teachers are so knowledgeable and i love that they arent afraid to push the people in the class hard to get a quality work out. They are all charismatic and acknowledge you individually which was important to me. I wish all gyms were like this. Having a good gym environment made me thrilled to go to the gym when i had a membership with crunch beaverton. Now that im no longer local to this gym i have high standards of what a gym should be. Thanks crunch fitness Beaverton for an amazing experience!

Good no nonsense gym, good selection of free weights, friendly staff and customers.I removed one star because they have scent machines spraying perfume into the air inside, there is no real upside to that if they keep the place clean, but a real downside to people with sensitivity to scents.Despite mentioning this to the front desk staff, there has been no action.

Happened to sign up at the right time to get a great deal on the Gym's premiere membership plan. Gym has everything I'm looking for in regards to free weights, machines, including areas to do power cleans and dead-lifts. Was given 4 complementary personal training sessions with Daniel as part of my sign up promotion. Daniel is an excellent personal trainer! Very knowledgeable and listened to what I was looking for. He gave me great advice for exercises to add in to my routine, critique on form, and solid motivation! 10/10 would recommend this gym/trainer to friends and family!

Good quality gym, good procedures in place for COVID-19. I always feel welcome. Good equipment, never have to wait too long for specific weights or equipment. Overall good experience, would recommend to anyone who is interested in investing in a big gym but not looking to pay a large sum of money every month.

I used to go to Crunch when I lived in San Mateo. It was a great gym. The Beaverton Crunch isn’t quite on that level BUT we are in the middle of a pandemic so I don’t want to judge too harshly because I can’t imagine how difficult it must be to try and run a business right now.Facilities:Close to my house which is great. The gym is clean and spacious. However, each time I’ve gone in there have been several machines out of order. It happens, not a big deal, and they’re usually fixed by my next visit.Staff:I joined online. When I came in to get set up, the two staff members at the desk were polite and got me set up quickly. That’s been the extent of my interactions. This might be an issue for some but I’m an experienced gym-goer ( is that even a word?) and I prefer to be left alone while I work out. Besides, they’re pretty busy maintaining the cleanliness of the facilities to keep us safe.Equipment:This is my one knock. There’s tons of space but it’s inefficiently used. I would prefer a larger free weight section with more benches, racks, squat racks, etc. However, that’s my preference. I don’t care for weight lifting machines. Cardio wise there are TONS of machines: stair steppers, treadmills, etc. I’ve never had to wait for one, even with every other one being out of commission to maintain social distancing. All and all, this is a solid gym and I’m thankful that they’re open when so many other places are closed. I got the $30/mo. membership and that seems like a fair price to me for what I get...though I never got my free t-shirt that was included in my membership 😉

I was a member here for years. Great price and atmosphere, but over the years they've let it get dirty and gross. They don't clean often or well. The TV audio on almost every single treadmill/elliptical/stair climber, recumbent, etc are not fully functional. Myself and other members have complained numerous times. The last time I complained to the front desk, I was told that management had been notified so many times, they stopped telling them.I cancelled my membership last month and joined Planet Fitness. I know another member that left for the same reasons right after I did. Planet Fitness is super clean. I see staff cleaning constantly. There are also several stations where you can get cleaning supplies to clean the equipment before and after your workout.

Rarely open on time. Only a couple of worn out cuffs for the olympic barbells which is a safety issue. If a machine breaks it stays that way for months. Missed yet another workout this morning because they were so late opening. If you're on …

Like many others here, I too am still being billed for a membership I was told would be cancelled over 5 months ago. The gentleman who "canceled" my membership within the free window said he would take care of it, and here I am. The managers are completely unhelpful and won't do anything to right a wrong that their company made. They say they need proof of cancellation, and I was given none at the time. On top of it all, if I want to cancel now, it will be another hundred plus dollars to the already hundred plus they owe me. Something really needs to be done about this. Too many people have fallen into the same trap.
