I’ve been a member for a few weeks now and it’s everything I hoped for and more. Tanner always makes me feel extra welcome and everyone I’ve talked to is so genuinely nice. I love seeing so many women lifters too! It’s super inspiring!

Excellent staff and great gym! I was bummed the pandemic shut down the south side. But honestly overall the east side really is a better gym. I just live closer to the south side. Great equipment with lots of variety!

I’ve been a member since 2018 and I absolutely love this gym! The staff makes great attempts to know the members on a more personal level. They update their equipment frequently and provide a great experience. The members are all friendly and willing to help out! Would recco this gym 100%

Best gym in Bend. Great staff, largest selection of equipment and free weights, variety of classes, plenty of space, clean gym area and locker rooms, and diverse, unpretentious members.

Be careful signing any contracts with this company.Even though my contract expired, they will not close my account and I keep getting charged.The most helpful conversation I had was a gentleman telling me that even though corona virus is happening, and I have not used my account they are under legal obligation to keep charging me.

I've been a member of Xcel for over 2 years. I'm primarily a weight lifter, and Xcel is perfect for that. Its weight lifting area is huge: 3 squat racks, space for deadlifts, 3 bench press benches, multiple benches in the free weights section, dumbbells with 2.5 pound increments, pull up bars, dip bars, cable machines, any strength machine you could possibly want, and more. The equipment is spaced out enough where people can actually use all the equipment at once. Everything is clean. It's climate controlled. The stretching area is large enough for 6+ people to comfortably use at once.There's also a row of cardio machines. I've seen them fill up right around 4-5pm, but otherwise there is always something available. Mostly treadmills, with several ellipticals, and a couple rowing machines and stair climbers. They all work--which is a pretty rare thing in gyms.Classes are included in your membership, but Crossfit is extra. Membership fees are very reasonable, especially if you opt for a longer contract. The staff are exceptionally friendly and greet everyone by name when they enter the gym. They also do a great job keeping the place clean.I'm moving from Bend and am sad to leave this place. Kudos to the staff, especially Tanner, for making Xcel such an incredible place.

As a member of both Snap Fitness and Xcel I can say without a doubt that xcel is the best gym. They have the biggest gym and offer the best variety of machines, weights, etc. Additionally, they are the safest and take the most precautions for COVID-19. There is an abundance of spray bottles, and everybody is given a clean towel upon entry. The workers also make sure to spray down all equipment before leaving, and are very friendly.
