Extremely nice gym! Spacious, well lit, clean, high ceilings, changing rooms and plenty of gym bag space while you roll. Not to mention Right off the interstate and easy to find. There are people here from nearly a dozen other gyms that share in goals, disciplines, smiles and laughter. I've never known a more accepting community than this. The instructors are among the best in the state!Michael is a thesaurus of techniques and a braniac for tactics. Not to mentions he gives great hugs. That alone is worth the price of admission.

I currently train in another state but was looking for a gym to train at while visiting Boise. They are very welcoming to visitors. The mats and facilities are very clean which is a big deal to me. Coaches and students have a good attitude and vibe and are helpful as well. I highly recommend this gym if you’re looking a place to train.

I am a Black Belt,I have been training Jiu Jitsu for 14 years. Training at Micheals academy has been the piece I've been missing to level up my training. The detail during class is second to none. The environment is very welcoming to all levels. I really enjoy the small details that make a huge impact in my game. I would recommend The Egley Training center to beginners and advanced bjj players. Thanks Mike

The best BJJ in the valley, the Coach is very knowledgeable and has competed at a very high level. I have enjoyed my time learning and rolling with him and others who have been in the gym. The culture is very inclusive and a lot of fun and just an overall great environment for jujitsu.

I tried out a few gyms in Boise before committing to this one. Egley turned out to be my favorite. Everyone is focused, humble, and willing to assist beginners when needed. The whole environment feels right to me as someone who is athletic yet new to jiu jitsu. The instructors are skilled at balancing individual attention and teaching an entire class of various levels. I couldn't be happier than here!

Professor Egley was one of the first sparring partners I worked with when I started Jiu Jitsu and he is a class act! With his size and skill level he could've murdered me! However, he was such gentle giant and helped me progress in to a decent grappler. For anyone new looking to try Jiu Jitsu, I highly recommend Mike's school. You wont be disappointed.

I was able to visit the Egley Jiu-jitsu School and I loved the atmosphere. Everyone I met was helpful and expressed their love for this martial art. It is a very friendly, family environment and has great technical lessons and coaches. If you are in Boise, this is the place to train and sharpen your skills in the art Brazilian Jiu-jitsu.

Myself along with my coaches who came down with me to compete in an event in Boise needed a place to train. After looking around and being told of egleys training facility. We got in contact with someone from the gym and decided to go and try it out.The gym and it's vibe were awesome. There was lots of parking around the area. Separate men's and women's bathrooms and even changing rooms for students. There was a lot of mat space to train with the walls fully matted aswell.Which made for exactly what we needed in preparation.Everyone was kind and friendly to us. And we even had some conversation in passing with those we met as well.Thank you! For letting us Hawaii guys come out and train. We will be sure to be back!
