Swung by to train today. Really impressed by the set up. Super friendly group, great instruction, and clean. If you are in the are you should check the gym out. If you are on the fence about joining a gym, just go in and chat with them, maybe watch a class. All the hallmarks of a quality BJJ gym. Lucky to have them in the Treasure Valley.

What a wonderful place to train. I've known the instructor for many years, since he was a blue belt. He's very skilled and more importantly, very articulate and able to break down what exactly he is teaching. He has excellent command of the English language and that makes his teaching much more precise and clear. He trains with everyone and will answer any and all questions that a student has. Highly recommended.

Great place! I was looking for a more interesting way to get exercise than going to a traditional gym. I wasn’t totally sure that jiujitsu would be for me, but heard good things and wanted to give it a try. I loved my first class. Everyone there is so welcoming and helpful!

As a wrestler coming into jiu jitsu I've really grown to love Coaches approach to the sport. As a Physical Trainer and Massage Therapist I've noticed that Mike not only knows jiu jitsu but, has a solid knowledge of the body and continual work towards homeostasis. Whether you wish to compete or are looking for a great family (my kids love his youth class) atmosphere, this is a great place to be!

The training is top notch a with a balance of skill levels for every one. It’s a welcoming environment that has an excellent balance of focussed training, great rolls, skills education and deliberate high level Rolls for the advanced. The head professor mike Egley and black belt colton Vaughn are top notch helping me train and place in the world tournament in a short amount of time with a deliberate top level training. if you are looking to advance your skills stop in or if you are an individual that is interested in learning it’s a great place to start. great staff and great facility’s, Stop on in.

A few weeks ago, I stopped in to Egley Train Boise Jiu Jitsu while I was in town for a competition and can I just say "Wow!" I've been to dozens of gyms, and this facility is definitely one of the best ones I've been to. The facility is located in a very open plaza with plenty of parking and nearby shops and restaurants. It is brand spanking new! When you first walk in, you're greeted by friendly staff (including head instructor Mike Egley's adorable baby son). To the right is the large, white mat space soaking in just the right amount of sunlight, which exemplifies the cleanliness of this facility. To the left is a spacious communal area with a workspace that is inviting for visitors to watch classes in session or for students to open up a laptop and work remote while waiting for class to start. Then you head to the back where there are large dressing rooms, separate bathrooms, and an infrared sauna! Now to the class and people - everyone here was super friendly! I get nervous meeting new people, but everyone made an effort to introduce themselves and welcome me. Mike taught class for that day. His instruction is so clear and detailed. He walked around to correct students, but specifically helped students adapt the technique to their size and body stature. [I'm pretty small as you can see in the picture, so that is very important to me.]I absolutely recommend stopping by Egley Train Boise if you're ever in the area. If you're looking to start jiu-jitsu in Boise, you're not going to find a better place. And if you're looking for a new place to train in Boise that is friendly and high-level, this is it. You won't find a better facility or better instruction in the 100-mile radius. To Mike and team - thank you so much for having me. Really look forward to visiting again!

I dropped by while visiting in town and had an awesome experience. I highly recommend checking Egley Train out for anyone wanting to try out Jiu Jitsu or if you’re looking for a gym in the area. Michael’s full of knowledge and the environment is very friendly. From great explanations on the fundamentals to helping diagnose some more technical moves, Michael and team were great.I found the members of the gym to be very willing to help and share their knowledge as well. This is a solid place to pick up the game or get great sessions and rolls in with good competition. I’ll definitely be back in the future!

I recently joined up at Egley Train Boise and I couldn’t be happier with it here! Coach Mike is very knowledgeable of Jiu-Jitsu and instructs technique in a way that benefits the most experienced practitioner to the beginner as well! The rest of the team is very welcoming and will push you to want to learn and roll more! I’ve had some of my best rolls here in a short time I’ve been a part of the team. There’s lots of classes that can fit your schedule! Get in here and train, you definitely will love it here!
