Membership fees increase constantly..$72 a month!! Cafe increased the cost of items but scaled back the product. Bathrooms always need cleaning. This club is going down while the fees increase. There is minimal space to freely workout because the "additional cost" group classes take over the gym space during primetime.I don't use the childcare, lifespa or gymnasium so easily thats $40 of my membership wasted.Update they are no longer a 24 hr gym. 2018

After having my appendix removed and being immobile and out of it for a few months, I went to the lifetime staff to try to recoup my money for those months. They told me I would have to get a doctors note and submit it and MAYBE there’d be a chance I could get funds returned. I had to keep my membership on hold while trying to do this ($15/month). The problem is this was an emergency procedure and I was not able to track down the doctor that performed it. Months later, I am out hundreds and hundreds of dollars with no resolution. This has been one of the worst customer experiences I’ve had in any line of business. Buyer beware.

I've never had an issue with the quality of service at Lifetime Fitness in Romeoville. Friendly helpful staff, clean well stocked locker/shower area. Love the pools, both indoors and outdoors.

I been coming to this gym for years I got family members who work here and workout here but the trainer Trevor is so disrespectful he kept kicking off my girlfriend off machines and telling her that his clients pay more than her so he can do that. Hopefully they do something about the disrespect they gave us. But the other trainers are amazing I’ve had them before help out a lot.

This place is huge, seems like the machines are well maintained and clean — downside, as a new member, you’d think staff would be helpful, but my encounter today at the service member area with staff name James, was horrific. He wasn’t receptive to what we (new member and old member alike) were saying, repeats the same statements in variety of formats like we are some dumb individuals, and just wants his own explaination as “the only way or hit the highway” type ... worse service ever!

Worst gym experience ever. I have been a lifetime member for years and due to my reallocation I had to put my gym membership on-hold. However, lifetime decided to auto-renew my membership after a while and started charging me $70 for months before I noticed it. When spoke to the membership department, they completely ignored me and mentioned that on-hold memberships are auto-renewed after a set time period which was pure bs since I was never told that when I put my membership on hold. Now I have been paying them $70 for 3 months without accessing the gym a single time. Best part: to cancel you have to give them a 30 day notice.

Haven’t been in a while. Started going again to get back to it in the gym and usually I go nights because it’s not crowded and I usually finish off the day with a work or and a swim. Went today and out of no where I hear that they are closing at midnight and opening back up at 4am. Makes no sense at all. One of the only good gyms that have a wide range of things and now they decide to close at midnight.

The place is cleaner than most gyms. Equipment is up-to-date. Also, having both a jacuzzi and sauna available is nice. My only knock on it is the gym in Romeoville no longer being 24/7. Working overnights, it’s hard finding time to go or energy in the morning to start my day in there. Having the quaint peace and solitude of maybe 20-25 people in the gym at midnight rather than hundreds any other time of the day (excluding classes that take up space) was one of the best things this gym had to offer. I know there’s this conception that not having as many patrons that late at night compared to throughout the day makes it easy to cut time. But you can lose members. I haven’t found time to go, so ending my membership seems to be the way to go now. Unless they plan on going back to 24/7. Otherwise, hello Anytime Fitness

Would not recommend. Parents must be in water with anyone under 12. Even if they can swim. Must pass their swim test but they only do those on weekends. Slides were not in use.

Swimming guard act like they own the place, I used to have my kids in their classes and when the instructor (she is from India I do not recall her name) was flirting with another male instructor during the class in front of my kids eyes then I decided to drop off, Their manager does not care or willing to solve any issues with her stuff, they care only about people who pays for advance classes and swim for the whole week, I sent an email to another manager on duty and I have no reply, for that reason I said good bye to Life time and never again plus I just saved over $90 monthly bill
