I been going to the gym and previous gyms I never had a problem with locking my stuff in a locker don’t use a locker no one is trusted but ever since Tuesday i had my stuff locked up in my locker and someone picked my lock along with a couple others and stole at least 20 dollars from me corporate needs to do something about peoples loss especially since they charge 79 for initiation plus 49 annually they need to support there customers so this is why 5 stars would have been good but not till then this happened

The attached images were taken in the yoga studio on April 30th, 2022, before yoga class with teacher Kateri P. I softly asked yoga teacher how often yoga studio is being cleaned as I have noticed the floor is dirty every time we have a class, and I showed her what I found on the floor. She said: "Put this in the garbage". She also added, she is hired by this club to do yoga and not worry about clean floor.Another complain I have about yoga teaches; Kateri P and Tammy L turns off the light every time for yoga class; we have yoga class in the dark. It does not say anywhere on the schedule that yoga classes will be in the dark. It should be Vinyasa flow yoga and Hatha Yoga classes and neither of them are marked on the schedule as yoga classes in the dark. Please clarify and mark your classes accordingly on the calendar. If the class is not marked "as class in the dark" it should not be in the dark.

Initially I had a 5 star review up until today. I’ve been coming here for over 10 years and it’s been a good place to workout. Today my locker had been robbed. My lock was cut, and someone went through my gym bag. The case of my headphones had been stolen. I had my headphones on during my workout and now they’re useless since I’ll have no charging case. It’s a shame what this place had become and think twice before coming here and if you do, definitely avoid locking up valuables in the locker.

Most affordable gym you can go to while also very large.Cons: can't bring guests at night. Huge con for me.Location is far from me (not their fault obviously)Fees were never explained to me both times I signed up or when my friends have signed up. Cancelling membership requires mailing a written letter. No belts. No dip belt/pull up belt.

The new location is nice and roomy however there are a few problems. To name some odd issues: There's already leaks in the roofing which, from what remember, was a problem back when this was a UFC gym. You'd think they would fix that by now. There's a odd lacking of Smith Machines like in most commercial gyms and the only single Smith available is an angled one which doesn't bode well for many exercises due to the bar path.Equipment Selection and Proper Commerical Gym Floor Planning: For some reason their new selection of machines is baffling as if they just kept a bunch of UFC Gym's old equipment and shifted any equipment that wasn't broken from the old gym. There are 3 hamstring machines, 2 leg extensions, and 1 pec deck machine? There doesn't seem to be a professional gym floor plan here just a hodgepodge of random equipment. This causes an issue as certain things bottleneck like the one and only pec deck being used by someone who cares more about texting than actually physically moving while there's rows of barbell benches to be found on the floor. Don't expect a proper floor plan like you'd get at Lifetime, FFC, or Equinox in the city.Staffing: While professionalism is sometimes lacking at times, for the most part they are a lot better than they were in the old location. I'm not sure if that's because old man Dan Morrissey finally stepped down plus the other two company founders are out (Feldmens are finally gone as investors and the other committed suicide a while back) and new CEO Steven Rayman stepped in to clean things up, but things are looking a lot more professional. They have never come up to my wife and I to sell anything like most corporate gyms do. If anything they say hi once and leave you alone to workout which is much appreciated. I'm sure if I asked for anything they would be helpful as I've seen them help many others in the gym with various things.Hours: Sadly Xsport doesn't seem to be a 24/7 gym anymore which knocks it back into competition with the other gyms around like Lifetime, LA Fitness, Equinox, and FFC instead of just going head to head with 24 Hr Fitness and Anytime Fitness. This is rather big as if you're a person who workouts late like I do at 1 or 2 am because of work, Xsport is no longer that commercial gym you can count on to be open.Maintenance: Most gyms have a floating handy man to fix gym equipment or an Operations Manager to report broken equipment to corporate to ask for someone to come fix something. Sadly this doesn't seem to be the case with this particular Xsport as within the first month of opening there are already broken equipment left and right on the floor. To be fair it's old equipment and not the new UFC Gym equipment that Xsport just seems to place a sticker over the Logos while the indents still say UFC Gym. This means that Xsport shifted their already old and poorly maintained gym equipment from the old gym to the new location which is a safety hazard. Unlike gyms such as Lifetime who has a dedicated Operations Manager that goes through and does weekly checks on the equipment, we the people just wait and use the equipment until it breaks on us mid set. I guess that's why they make you sign that long liability waiver when you sign up.Lastly, the roof of this place has been leaking since it was a UFC Gym. If anything the leaking has gotten much worse recently. Please fix the holes in the roof!Overall: Mediocre gym that pales in comparison to it's competitors since shortening their hours. Equipment is a blend of new and old machines where using the old ones are at your own risk. Staffing seems friendly enough or at least doesn't bother you like the CIA of suits that bombard you at Lifetime with their annoying trainers who can't stop offering you their business cards. Location is prime as it's only 5 minutes from my house and right off the highway making it super easy to get to and a great location of you're coming from the city or North Suburbs. A bit more attention to maintenance and this gym would be a 4/5.

XSport fitness did not honor their 24/7 part of the deal I signed up for. Instead they continued to draw funds from my credit card while I was under the assumption that the “membership” was on hold during covid shutdown and covid surges. The club was inaccessible to me yet XSport took plenty of money. Very dishonorable . Not trustworthy. Do not do business with these people . Set up your own home gym. It’s a nightmare to get them OFF your credit card . Fine print said “24/7”, they did not honor it but they still took the money. Credit card disputes…. My advice is to put in a credit card dispute . You probably will not get the money but the credit card companies will eventually get tired of all their disputes from XSport and drop them. The best way to deal with XSport and their dishonesty is to cut off funds.

I was not convinced to train in this gym, but the customer service boy told me I charge you $ 1 for training a week for free and if you like the gym you sign up, it turns out that I only went 3 days and I did not like it and I did not return, As they had my credit card details, they charged me an amount of $ 49 and $ 23 as if I had taken a plan with them when I never authorized it because I did not want to sign up, and they also charged me $ 10 for taking me out of their system. In conclusion they charged me 84 $ for 3 days that I went to train! the worst and most expensive gym of my life

I've been coming here for a week and even though it's further away than 2 other locations I come here because the equipment, the atmosphere and overall gym is better. Especially comparing to the other gyms, the staff here actually looks happy. You can tell in the way they interact with each other and the clients. Someone's doing a good job creating a positive work culture. I even see the trainers actually walking around the gym and picking up trash or tidying up the floor which I've never seen in any other xsports. Everyone from the managers, the clerks to the porter seem to invest into the atmosphere and energy here and that's why I come here

After cancelling in person(so i thought), i was still over charged for a couple months without even going to the club. I called and they said they needed my signature to cancel after waiting on the phone for an hour-2. After the call they told me that I had to drive 300 miles to the original location to sign a paper. When i got there, they made it so weird and awkward so that you get pressured in not cancelling, at least that's what it felt like. I think this is why you cant cancel over the phone, its such a money scam scheme that truly awful. How can the employees feel ok after doing this?So finally, I get the copy of the paper with my signature and send it to the xsport hotline/corporate. Soon after a couple weeks i get my refund. This entire experience was so bad that it made me write this review. Someone seriously needs to do something about this. Its an awful system to entrap consumers in things theyre not using for their money.

I trained with Tammy, she is very knowledgeable on fitness and helped me with correcting my form. I had a herniated disc in my spine and she taught me a lot on correct posture while exercising. Great experience, thanks!
