I train with PAT in Xsport Darien. BEST TRAINER EVER! I used to weigh 60 pounds more and started my weight loss journey with just dieting and lost around 45 pounds initially. I had a lot of saggy skin because of this and did strength training for another year and a half, but not much changed. I started training with Pat after this. I saw more changes in just 2 months, compared to all training I had prior to that with other trainers. I started lifting more weights, toning up pretty fast and got to know how strong I actually am both physically and mentally! He recognizes your strengths, weaknesses and factors affecting your workouts and trains you harder so that you get the best possible outcomes. I'd highly recommend him.

Let me start by saying the staff here is great, very friendly for the most part. However, I don’t know how it is so dirty! There is a moldy smell to the whole place too. I get that it’s a gym, but come on!

Great place to work out at! Friendly and welcoming place from the moment you walk in. My personal trainer, Pat, is a man of his word and I see results on a weekly basis. I am always looking forward to my work out classes!

I have been going here for years. I am impressed on how clean and well managed the club is. I feel Jordan gets it together for all members. It was runned down prior to him taking over management!!!

The reason im giving 5 stars is solely due to Two people in particular here. Tammy (personal Trainer) and Jordan (general Manager). Jordan is always greeting members and guests with a smile and a upbeat personality. Always accomodating and willing to help.Tammy- is without a doubt THEE most KNOWLEDGDABLE and PERSONABLE trainer taht they have on staff. She is beyond well versed in all aspects of fitness, yoga, pilates, speed, agility, strength etc. I am a competive bodybuilder and with out a doubt would go to her IMMEDIATELY for help. Shes been able to correct my hip and shoulder ROM and Mobility, provide cues to perform lifts better, and jsut over all CARES ABOUT HER CLIENTS. She DOES NOT play with her phone, she DOES NOT talk to members while witha client (people forget the word PERSONAL in Personal Training). There isn't one negative thing i can say about this lady. She's one of a kind. Don't just read my review, go see for yourself and getyourself on track to a better you !

Xsport has really improved their service. Even though their sign on is slightly misleading. For 10$/month, and $50 yearly fee (even though this is charged 2months after signon). For what you pay you get good equipment and a decent changing room. Some machines break but the always have others of the same kind that are working.

Been going to Xsport for a couple of years some of their machines are old but still good, a great gym to go to for training. I've been training with Tammy for a couple of months and she's helped me change everything ik about fitness. She's wonderful and really knows what she's doing. She can train anyone from old to young. Hands down the best trainer there

I've been coming here for years and while I always get a good workout in the staff is very, very bad when it comes to restocking paper towels, toilet paper, etc. Every day that I'm there there's either no toilet paper in the women's bathroom or there's a paper towel dispenser that's empty. Sometimes they're empty for days at a time before someone actually refills them. It gets old walking all over the gym to find paper towels or having to switch bathroom stalls because there's no toilet paper available. There are always plenty of staff members around so it's strange to me that simple things like that aren't getting done.

The gym itself is great but don’t trust these people with your credit card. I paid for tanning for 2 months and decided to cancel back on July 7th because I wasn’t using it. Checked my credit card statement in August to find out they have still been charging me for it. So I called up and talked to the manager Jordan Poremba who said he would take care of it and Makesure I got a refund. I emailed him a copy of my cancellation sheet and he said he would do the rest. He didn’t do anything about it, I’ve been charged 4 times since cancelling and Jordan just chooses to ignore my emails. I loved the club and the equipment but I’ll never go back or spend another dime with xsport after this. It’s a very unprofessional way of handling business Xsport.

Childcare is dirty and never open on time. When someone does show up- they are on their phones and less then happy to be there. Tanning is never clean either and rarely working or system is down. Spin bikes are broken and have been for months with no rush to fix despite months of follow up emails. I highly recommend you don’t waste your money here.
