The gym is praised for its friendly staff, ample space, and a variety of equipment that support a diverse range of workout routines. However, significant complaints about outdated, poorly maintained equipment and the condition of the facilities cannot be ignored. This gym’s communication is definitely lacking. Like others have said, they did freeze the accounts a month after closing due to Covid. They told me that email communication was sent out in July but I searched every thing this company may show up as in my email, spam, and trash to search for this notification and there wasn’t a single email. I had not received any emails since March from this gym. I called to cancel on August 15th and they told me I needed to send a letter or come in person. I emailed a cancellation letter as it is 2020 and I can’t think of a single reason why this shouldn’t be acceptable for them. They did not accept email either, they wanted a mailed letter or to go in person. So I walked over and cancelled—still getting charged like the many others that have written similar reviews or filed lawsuits for this exact reason. They make it impossible to cancel, even during a global pandemic. Poor management is an understatement.Out side of that, this gym layout is insanely awkward and broken up weird, it is always slammed, and it’s gym hardo central. Save your money and sanity and find a different gym.

Clean and organized per usual. CDC guide lines followed closed. Glad to be back and can’t to start taking classes again to drop this Covid 15!

Too busy during rush hourIt used to be that the New Years rush would be hard to manage but this has now become the normal rush hour traffic and it results in a much longer wait for equipment. It would be good to see some new locations open to help accommodate the traffic

DO NOT GO HERE. Worst gym experience I have ever had, hands-down. The club shutdown in mid-March due to covid-19. I was still charged for all of March and April, and was given no option to cancel my membership, and their phone line was updated to an automated response, with no option to leave a message before hanging up. Upon their reopening in July, I called (and received confirmation) that my account was put on hold as I was not yet comfortable returning to the gym. However, after numerous calls and emails, I STILL have not been refunded for March, April, or July, and am now being charged a seemingly random amount for August. Each time I call, the employees state that they are working on it and need to "reprocess refund requests" or update their billing info, and tell me to call back in 72 hours, I have no idea how else to stop these charges from accruing. I am unable to cancel without showing up in person, paying an extra month, as well as paying additional fees. Ridiculous policies, and terrible service.

After freezing my account on early early April and requesting a cancellation I was charged again within minutes of gyms reopening however in their website it states gyms are all closed and when you call the gym it just rings then the corporate office number just hangs up on you. They charged me for two months without my authorization. This business is a sham to take advantage of people during Covid is disgusting never going back here.RESPONSE:1. I froze my account separate from the entire freeze2. I cannot be patient while you continue to charge me THAT IS RIDICULOUS

I was a member of this gym for 3 years. I paid BSC over $3,000 in membership fees throughout my time there. After cancelling my membership I paid my $50.00 cancellation fee and an extra month of a membership before I moved. This specific location kept charging me while I wasn’t even living in the state and after I fully cancelled my membership. When I called on the phone, the manager Jordan, was rude and did not care about what I had to say at all. I will never be a member here again thanks to this disappointing and unprofessional experience. STAY AWAY

Poor customer service. Continued charging my credit card for gym fees even though they weren't open during the covid crisis. They didn't respond to 3 separate emails requesting cancellation of service and when I finally did get ahold of someone, they told me I had to mail them a letter telling I wanted to cancel as email and phone was not sufficient.

If I was wealthy, I would sue this terrible company. They keep charging me during a global pandemic, after I have cancelled my membership and the Attorney General of Mass had sent them a cease and desist letter. I have $0.61 in my bank account thanks to Boston Sports Club. Don’t know how I’m am supposed to survive on that, since I am jobless due to previously mentioned pandemic.0/10: would not join again, because they are thieves with terrible customer service.

Limited equipment, dirty locker rooms, broken machines, and not enough free weights. The Downtown Crossing BSC is a much better option.

Great Staff. Clean Gym. Great Rates & location. I would recommend this club to anyone.
