I’ve been a member at Crunch Boulder for a while now and I must say, the recent changes I’ve seen around the facility are phenomenal! The locker rooms are definitely cleaner, as is the e main gym floor. Everything looks really nice! I’m not sure what made the change. Perhaps a recent management change or soemthin. Whatever it is, keep it up!!!

I have only had positive experiences at Crunch Fitness! The staff is super welcoming and they have a really nice variety of machines. I have definitely seen improvement in staffing and overall quality of the gym in the last few months. Definitely a good spot to check out

I recently joined Crunch Fitness in Boulder and I have to say, I'm thoroughly impressed. The gym is clean, well-equipped, and has a wide range of classes to choose from. But what really sets this gym apart is their general manager, Rachel. She is always so friendly and helpful, and she goes above and beyond to make sure her members are happy. If you're in the Boulder area and looking for a new gym, I highly recommend Crunch Fitness. Just make sure to say hi to Rachel when you're there!

I was limited in my experience there because I was in town traveling but I loved it there. Talked to several trainers who were all super nice and helpful. Other patrons were welcoming to me as an outsider and all the equipment I needed was easy to access and in good condition. If I lived in the area I would definitely be a full time member there. Great gym.

I am a member of Crunch in Arizona but my family is in Boulder - over the holidays I typically frequent this location. It is very apparent that this gym is under new management as this gym is dramatically cleaner and the staff is friendlier than they have ever been before. It seems this gym is on the right track finally and it makes working out in Boulder so much more enjoyable.

This place is filthy. I am a working professional and wanting to shower here after my work outs. The showers are not useable. They are covered in grime, hair balls, and brown stains. The bathrooms are always a mess as well. I complained at least 5 times to the staff, and they did not do anything about it. When I got to the gym and checked the showers, and saw they were filthy, I complained to a staff member. Two hours later after my work out, the showers were still a mess and the staff member was on her phone at the front desk. The culture is filled with college kids, both those who are employed and those who use the gym. The standards to cleanliness are so low, it is worse then a dorm. I would never recommend this place to anyone. They don't listen to complaints and the staff are very unfriendly.

I've been a member for over a year and have used the gym more than 100 times. I always feel welcomed (friendly staff) and it's an easy atmosphere within which to get a workout regardless of one's fitness level. I had a few personal training sessions with Riley who was terrific. Highly recommend him if you are looking for a personal trainer. 90% of the time, the equipment and space I am looking for is available and in the few times that it is not, it's very easy to find an alternative. I have seen other reviews that discuss the difficulty of handling situations of being charged incorrectly and trying to resolve: I have had 3 different instances of mischarges over the course of the year. When I have brought that to Crunch Fitness's attention it has been fixed within 24-36 hours -- cannot complain on that front. The only thing that doesn't make this a 5 star review is the lack of upkeep in the locker rooms. Sometimes supplies are out, items are broken and areas are dirty. There's a texting system to get attention but it doesn't always work. I texted a problem with a filthy shower and it took 2 days to get cleaned up. Even at its best, the locker rooms are never great. Otherwise, I highly recommend this affordable gym with lots of opportunities to work out and great personnel. I find them very responsive if there's any confusion about being charged incorrectly.

I just joined and I absolutely love this gym! I was sort of intimidated about going to a serious gym but everyone makes you feel so welcome and taken care of. My trainer, Rachel is the most amazing trainer I've ever worked with and she genuinely cares for not only your fitness goals but your overall well being. I can not recommend her enough. Train with Rachel! You won't be disappointed. Also, the front desk is so helpful in assisting me in my needs. Lauren went above and beyond to make sure I had the best experience while present at this gym! I truly hope Crunch is taking care of these valuable employees bc they are the reason I will keep coming back!!!

I think it’s funny that you pay $50 for a “cleaning fee”, but it’s never clean and the bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. What are we being charged for? A lot of the paper towel dispensers don’t work, and you’re usually reduced to sharing one or two spray bottles that may or may not actually work with the entire gym. The staff is nice, but most of them will just treat you like you don’t exist. I would give a higher rating if the bathrooms were better but good lord I saw the same poo stain for almost a week in a row and that’s kind of insane…and gross.

Horrible service and machines are always broken.EDIT: 2 months post response: Instead of repairing the machines, they've resorted to covering two (of the many) broken machines with caution tape (see photos). I've been coming consistently for 1.5 years and I can assure you the ab crunch machine has been broken since November 2021.Besides the actual broken machines, there are countless loose screwed that could be extremely dangerous that do not "require additional parts that we're having trouble getting" but rather, some 14 year old to walk around with a screwdriver and wrench.I have spoken to about 5 different employees (including the manager) and every time they either say "we have a maintenance guy coming later this week" or "we'll get right on that".This is the absolute worst gym I have ever been to. If I could give 0 stars, I 100% would. I HIGHLY recommend finding another, albeit a more expensive gym to pay for some 14 y/o to tighten screws.
