Love my experience with this club! Such great people that work there! Carissa B great class GREAT fun energy, Denise S helpful with modifications and super well run class - great sense of humor too!, I don't know his name but the guy at the front desk in the early (6AM) mornings on weekdays - its not easy to be welcoming and nice that early in the morning - thank you whatever your name is!

The inside pool area has bugs and it has not been dealt with in the past month. The deck is slimy, too.The group fitness classes are lacking in cardio options. We used to get 60 to 90 people in cardio classes such as cardio boxing and hip hop aka dance jam classes and they don't seem to value those formats at this club at times that would be well attended in 2022.The new shower heads in the women's locker rooms are extremely high, 7 feet? People cannot adjust them or get water on their bodies with the height of the new faucets.Extremely disappointed and have been a member since it changed over from NW Athletic, which we have been told by a manager of a certain department that they do not value 30 year members over new members. So much for loyalty.

I have been a member at the Fridley location for some time. I am so impressed with the front desk staff. They greet me like I am an old friend. When they see me coming, they are already getting protective gloves for me to wear. They wow me every time. Particular staff of mention are Tanya, Calli, and the front supervisor (not sure of her name-sorry). I used to go to another well know club, however, my experience was that the staff would hardly look up from their phones at check-in. Oh, I should mention that I had a troubling experience in the parking lot, and the Lifetime front desk staff/supervisor handled it superbly. Exemplary customer service is all I can say!Cynthia Glynn

I really like the community of this Life Time location, that’s how you can tell it’s a good people gym. People here aren’t shady when asking to use equipment or share. The location is perfect for those in the Minneapolis or Saint Paul area. The one and only downside is that the mens locker room reeks and I mean it reeks like someone’s stinky sock smell got stuck in the carpet. Other LifeTime don’t have carpet in their locker rooms - they have tiles instead. If they could change the carpet to tiles, it would stink less I believe. Also the AC doesn’t work in this lifetime so if you’re lifting downstairs you’re going to sweat and it stinks downstairs.

I was a member of Life Time for over ten years and overall my experience was great early on but faded over the years. Going into 2022 I cancelled my membership for two main reasons.1) Increased rates and reduced hours. I understand that the pandemic stressed the economy but personally I did not want to start paying a higher monthly fee for a membership that gives me less access to the club than previous years.2) After being a member for over ten years, I felt zero appreciation for my loyalty to the club. There was not even a simple "thank you" or any sort of acknowledgement that my family's business was important to Life Time. All and all it is a good gym. The equipment is nice and there is a variety of classes and benefits. However, once I decided to leave Life Time and started looking at competing gyms I quickly realized that there are a lot of new places out there that are eager to value their members and have a more palatable price point.

Men's locker room smells, entire gym is poorly ventilated and climate controlled. AC doesn't even seem to be on. The other day there was water leaking from the ceiling into a bathroom stall. Definitely not worth going to this one. Unfortunately for some it's the closest and most convenient location.

One of my favorite locations in the metro, large and spaced out facility that doesn't feel cramped, plenty of equipment, tons of room in the locker rooms so you aren't smashed right next to someone else. And best of all, clean! Several other locations you can tell they don't take the pride this location does in the detail of keeping everything from the showers, locker rooms to the equipment in the best shape as possible. I have 2 locations closer to me, but still drive to this one and will continue to. Thanks!

Our typical club is Maple Grove Lifetime but stop here while my son has basketball practice. I’m thankful for the customer service the MG club provides. Tonight I took my daughter (9) to see the outdoor pool since it was open and compare it to the Plymouth clubs outdoor pool. Mind you we were not in our swimsuits or providing any indication that we were going swimming. We were aggressively stopped by the swim instructor doing swim lessons and she said “if she’s under 18 she can’t swim right now”. Pretty bold assumption as the website actually did state that it was open swim NOT adult swim. Please have a talk with your rude employee and educate her on the website hours or adjust accordingly to save anyone else the discrimination and embarrassment of her rude behavior.

Overall the gym is spacious & clean. However, The employees are super rude. The ladies at the front disk have absolutely no manners. I actually canceled my membership because of a few incidents. The only person who is great to work with is Landy.
