By far, the best gym I’ve been a member at! The coaches and owners are top notch and make you feel like family. The environment is very friendly and never intimidating, which has allowed me to grow as a person, build confidence, and be in the best shape of my life.

NWDF is so much more than your typical gym. The owners and coaches genuinely care about us members. Besides the workout programs, they encourage healthy habits by following themselves. I've met so many great people here, including several I consider friends. I love this gym!

I love this gym! They make you feel like family, and they push you to do your best! I've been coming to this gym for a year and a half, I am now in Advanced Krav and have been doing crossfit for about 8 months now and the results have been AMAZING, not to mention feeling more safe and secure now that I feel I can defend myself if anything happens. They also have a nutrition service to really help you get results. I highly recommend this gym to anyone looking to break their boring old routine at any other boring old gym and challenge yourself physically and mentally, and make a bunch of great new friends along the way!

In todays world there are just a few select places where you can find great quality. Integrity and true craftsmanship are hard to come by. At New World Defense I not just found all that but a great mentor in Coach Juan Acosta and exceptional friendships. Juan and New World Defense has truly changed my concept in workout and lifestyle. This gym is the best gym I have been to in SWFL. The coaches are all patient and very understanding. They coach in various ways so everyone can learn the skills needed. It’s been a little over a year since I first stepped inside this gym and I’m so grateful I did so. It has been nothing but a very uplifting, motivating, and friendly environment. All the coaches here is are extremely kind and awesome individuals. If you’re looking for a place to learn self defense and/or get in the best shape of your life, my best advice for you is to simply take a step in just like I did and check the place out for yourself.

Having a good experience anywhere stays with the sign-up process and this was fantastic. A complete rundown of what’s offered and the benefits. Secondly, when I did the trial class, the first thing that impressed me was everyone’s positive attitude. Instructors strive to accommodate every skill level and make the classes interesting and intense.Lastly, the staffs dedication to its members has been incredible especially post-hurricane. People reach out and encourage each other to attend classes as soon as they can, while offering support just in case their services aren’t restored.Overall, you cannot go wrong by joining the New World team.
