Planet Fitness

Members beware! Planet fitness requires you to provide a credit card or bank account for automatic withdrawal. I canceled my membership. Ywo months later they reacted the automatic withdrawal.this is very suspicious. I wonder how many others they have done this to and haven't been caught. When I gave planet fitness an opportunity to correct their comment was I had to return to Florida to personally cancel again. I went there and now I'm back in Wisconsin. This is not possible. I hope this helps others. Beware of planet fitness and shady practices

I love the upbeat no judgement atmosphere. The staff is positive, very friendly & and always there to assist you with a smile. The gym here has to be one of the cleanest businesses in town. The trainer Karlin is the best. She is very upbeat, friendly, pushes you to do your best in a very productive way. Her classes are amazing! I've had many physical therapists (which I've been charged a lot of money to go to), & other gym's trainers that don't even come near to the quality/success I've had with Karlin's training. Lastly they're a very honest gym! I lost a diamond wedding band at this PF. I gave them a description of the ring, they asked me for my contact information & said they would tell the employees to keep an eye out for it. In the next day or two I received a call that they found the ring. The nighttime employee that does a more intense cleaning in the late evening/early morning found the ring behind the large garbage pail next to the front door & turned it in to a manager. I wish I could remember his name. Great Job PF in San Carlos Park, Fort Myers, FL!

Clean, well maintained facilities. Excellent cardio and strength at a reasonable cost. I am impressed by the friendly and helpful personnel at the many outlets I have visited. We split our time between Cape Cod and Florida. I am able to simply transfer my membership from Massachusetts to Florida and back. I have been an avid exercise enthusiast my whole life. I have been a member of many clubs and I must say yours is the best on the Planet!

Planet Fitness is a great place to burn off some anxiety and calories. Employees are very friendly and they keep everything very clean. There is plenty of equipment very seldom need to wait to use what you desire because of crowds. The hydro massage bed is the perfect way to end a workout routine. Only complaint it's why didn't I join sooner

This Planet Fitness location leaves much to be desired. The new staff members are much more polite than some of the previous employees. The clientele is not particulary friendly or considerate of others. While this location is close to my office, I tend to avoid it because of this poor atmosphere. The mens locker room is atrocious. Of the 3 sinks in there, only one works and not very well. The toilets and urinals do not flush properly. It always smell awful in there. It is not kept clean and club members do not do a great job of picking up/cleaning up after themselves. I've mentioned it to the staff (as have other guests) and yet the issues remain.

Very welcoming as it was my first visit, my boyfriend took me as his guest. I was very surprised at all the amenities they had to offer over other over priced gymsWill be definitely becoming a member! Great fans that keep you cool during your workout! A major plus!

This facility always has a safe clean feel and is less crowded. In my experience Planet Fitness may not have every single specific machine or free weight I may want but If one has any knowledge of fitness knows it doesn’t take much to get a solid workout in. I am grateful to use a ton of locations throughout the country for a great price. You also can always count on positive atmosphere.

Love the club. Love the staff. Everyone keeps to themselves, they come in, do the job and get out. Everyone notices the regulars, great gains everyone, keep it up. But more importantly, the regulars make you feel safe and apart of like the work hard play hard crew. Maybe it's just me, but I left LA in Towncenter, 1/3 the pay, smaller gym, but I got more serious here. Been working in the area for 5-6 years. More people really wipe their stuff too, the staff is great about it, I really like them, they always say hi, goodbye, keep the place clean and able to answer questions. The guy with the hat deserves a raise, they all do, but he's an employee worth working up to corporate.

We joined this San Carlos location in 2018 and the previous owner Kris Glidden had a good thing going here. Great staff and the manager was on top of just about everything. The place was ALWAYS SUPER CLEAN and the machines and all other equipment were always running or immediately repaired when there was an issue. There was never a lack of paper towels, the venting was always dust free, there were NO ceiling tiles with tremendous amounts of water damage, the lights in any area were always running and the water fountain as well as the hydro-beds were always operating. I have already spoken to the new manager about a couple issues and now it’s been almost 4 months and instead of things improving more things are being neglected. What a shame. We only use this facility for 6 months a year & would appreciate going to a gym that is cared & looked after more than what the new management is doing. Maybe there is a big bonus if expenses are at a minimum, if that’s the case then the new manager will have a nice bonus coming her way. But then again, I’m only paying $25 a month, what’s there to expect!!

Super unorganized with their policy. I should have never left LA fitness. Basically, they are trying to have you not cancel by being super vague on the process. Spoke to Chantel (Chantal Chantelle) instead of helping homegirl was giving me her work schedule and telling me shes not the manager. Im disappointment in them.
