I’m not a gym-bro. I don’t work out because I like to. I work out because I like food. That said, I don’t feel too out of place here even though it is crawling with gym-bros. They are welcoming and even the encounters I’ve had the the tryhards have been pleasant. The place is clean as well. Like probably the cleanest place I visit on a weekly basis. Not worried about getting sick when I visit.Lastly, Kids crunch is amazing. I honestly have thought about just dropping off my kids and sitting in the massage chair for an hour just because. In summary, if you’re looking for a gym, nut up and join crunch.

I usually don't write reviews but my experience with this Crunch has been astounding. I have had significant problems trying to cancel my membership since moving out of Champaign. I canceled my personal trainer in June and the gym charged my credit card for personal training in July. When I explained that I had canceled they said there was nothing that they could do and I still had to pay for a service that I canceled and was unable to use. When I called to cancel my membership they stated they needed a physically signed copy of the cancellation in which I would have to go to the gym to sign a letter of cancellation or mail a physical copy. Although I have disputed the personal training charge with my credit card, Crunch continues to send a 184.00 dollar charge every other week to my credit card.

Gym is fine-crowded almost all the time. BUT the real worst is trying to cancel. My wife and I stopped going to Crunch when COVID closures hit town and once things opened up, we never went back. Despite three different conversations and promises to cancel, Crunch is still charging us a membership fee. STAY away from here if you don't like to ripped off and lied to. Go someplace locally owned, Or better yet, get your own equipment and train at home.9/13/21 Billing issues are still continuing. 18 months later this is still unresolved. Do not sign up for Crunch. Terrible Terrible Terrible. Literally the worst ever.

Absolute worst customer support and management will not call you back or actually help you. Have been unable to cancel my membership for months. Unfortunately moved away while they were closed for COVID in the beginning and since have not been able to either get a person on the phone, email that works, or get management to call me back. Apparently the only person that can cancel is the general manager. They are never there.. Never had this much trouble canceling a gym.

Brand new facility and in all honesty it's only hard to find parking. Multiple machines and weights so there's barely any waiting. The classes are fun! You get out what you put in them and the instructors Kat and Jacquelyn are awesome. It's worth it to me and making it easier to stick to my fitness goals.

I signed up during the $1 special and got started going once they were officially open and have no regrets. Staff is nice, of course tried to upsell me during the grand tour but that's what they're paid to do, right? Equipment is very nice, clean, and in great working order. No matter how busy it is (and it's always busy, even at 6am) there are always plenty of open machines. One thing to note, they will charge you extra if you set up a credit/ debit card for your payment as opposed to giving them your bank info for payment. Something they failed to tell me at sign up, they spring it on you after you're all signed up and locked in, so just be aware. No biggie but just something to know! Overall I've been happy with the experience.

We tried Crunch Fitness and decided to sign up for a membership. They have more machines than most places, so there's usually not a wait for machines and there's plenty of variety. They also have several classes to choose from throughout the week. They have 3 membership levels, so there's something for every budget. We've had a great experience so far. The worst part is parking in the evenings - we usually end up having to park pretty far away since it's prime workout time.

I had won a free one year membership. I haven’t been able to use yet as I’ve had health issues, surgery & hospital stays. With that being said, I was charged for January. Went into facility and was guaranteed it was taken care of and refunded in cash (not refunded back to my account) the cost they took out of my account. On February 5th, once again monthly fee, which I shouldn’t have to pay, was taken out of my account. Called in and was told management would get back to me. All that was done was I was emailed a copy of my contract stating this year has been paid in full. No return call or anything as I had requested. And still no mention of a refund. So I called in this morning to ask about refund; why no one actually wants to return a call; and why management never seems to be available. I was told management is only there from 1-3pm. I was also told they prefer to communicate via email. Still no mention of my refund except “management will get in touch with you”. I will be putting in a call to corporate office today. Not happy with customer service. Was really looking forward to trying the gym and working with the personal trainers. But with 2 months of same issue, don’t know if I’ll be continuing once my health issues are under control.

Super disappointed in this place. My friend and I signed up for the one week free trial. Super excited to have a place with daycare that wasn’t an arm and a leg. We went with my 4 kids to attend a class at 9am. My friend forgot her ID and they refused to let her in, not even if she had her husband send a picture of her ID or left her phone as collateral. The manager wouldn’t make ANY exceptions. She decided to stay out and I went to drop off kids. There was ONE person in the daycare with 8 kids at 9:00am and her max was 10 (Hello moms with kids coming to workout...) She said no one else was there to help her. There were 3 people just standing around at the desk! You’d think being a new gym they would want to make people happy and bend over backwards, but they don’t. Needless to say we left without a workout with 4 kids in tow. I’m glad I didn’t pay them a penny, we won’t be back, and we definitely won’t recommend this place to anyone, especially moms trying to get a workout in.

My first review I've ever left on a place. I'm posting in hopes this will actually get someones attention, and they'll revamp their customer service strategy when that person is not in the gym. My review is of no reflection of the gym itself. I love Crunch, and thoroughly enjoyed going there prior to the shelter-in-place. No issues at all... except for parking. The facility was always well kept, and the staff I interacted with were always friendly. Where do they lack? Addressing customer concerns that come in through the website. I have reached out a couple times now with various concerns to only have been ignored. If you want answers you have to ask in person or call. Given shelter-in-place is in effect and gyms are closed, good luck getting any of your concerns addressed.
