Planet Fitness

Says open 24 hours and closed at 8pm on a Wednesday. I was hoping to get a workout in and a shower as a truck driver, but guess not.

Good atmosphere, clean Planet Fitness. Showers are wonderful and clean. But I repeat I'm a Profesional Truck Driver and there is absolutely NO TRUCK PARKING. Which is crazy cause it's plenty of room. Tow signs everywhere. I done my usual routine at drove a block over behide the Dollar Tree shopping center.

This is a great facility with an even better staff. I'm so happy to be able to use my black card membership when not in my hometown.

Very thorough with following CUPHD guidelines during these crazy times. Staff is always sanitizing equipment and facilities. I don’t see this at other gyms.

The staff is super friendly & the facility is always nice & clean! I enjoy having this space to get some exercise.

BE CARFUL TO UNDERSTANDING THE FEES. I was mislead by the advertisement. I thought I was getting to try them for $1 for a month with no strings attached, and then I was charged $22 a week later. I woke up today and saw they charged me $39. I called the desk and they said that's the annual fee. I'm canceling it because this is too much money. Also, they make you write a letter of why you want to cancel and that's very annoying. What bothers me the most about all of this is I'm not going to get any of my money back. I only tried them out for about 2 weeks and I spent a lot of money.

I applied for a membership card, but I only went there for a month, since I can't cancel my membership directly by phone call, so I plan to just keep my membership. A terrible thing happened, I followed their stuff to bind the bank card in their app and automatically deducted $10 every month. In the past two months, they have deducted nearly $100 from me. I don't know where many unreasonable charges come from. I went to the staff to explain, they all said that they had no right to refund me, but the manager was always out of the office, and I only get respond once on the email and then never responded. It is recommended that you guys do not apply for a membership card, as there will be a lot of unreasonable charges. The advertisement is false, they will find all kinds of reasons to deduct money. You can never reach the manager.

Be sure to read and understand their policies! They do not make it easy to cancel your membership and their promotion does not exclude the annual membership. So what may look like a good deal can turn bad very easily. Planet Fitness have policies that make it easy for them to collect from you, but difficult to get out if you move away. It is clear they do not value members...I'd recommend a local fitness studio that has local connections and local accountability.

Staff is friendly, establishment is extremely clean and there is tons of cardio equipment .Yet to have to wait for any equipment to get in sets. Great price for the service and operating hours

I'm really frustrated with the Champaign Planet Fitness. I moved and tried to cancel my membership over the phone (other locations allow this) and they are requiring me to send in a letter via snail mail to cancel. Seems like it's a ploy to make it as difficult as possible to cancel. PF talks about canceling it anytime and then makes it hard. Seems to be bordering on false advertising. Time to focus on customers and their needs rather than trying to make it hard to cancel especially for those who are concerned about COVID or don't live in the area anymore.
