Pivotal Fitness - West Ashley

I had a 7 day trial and really liked Pivotal fitness, I had done a trial at 3 other places and this one was by far the best. I have one more trial with another business but I am leaning toward Pivotal as their customer service was very good, especially Gavin, he was awesome!They have a great selection of weights, benches, rooms, kids care. It's a great place.

The instructors are amazing. I thoroughly enjoy the classes red zone and Forge. It is a great workout and a great community. My father and I enjoy exercising together and pivotal is the best place for us.

The new location allows for a intense workout without worrying about outside distractions. Some will say its different, but one must try before judging. I have been getting the best workouts of my life with the new layout.

It would be impossible to love Pivotal Fitness more. From the kind employees to the fabulous area for the kids to the incredible selection of equipment and classes, this gym is truly what you want out of a workout facility. It is a joy to be a member and I only wish I had come over here sooner!

My favorite gym in Charleston! Staff is friendly. You can always get on equipment and larger space than most gyms around. Hands down the best place to go.

Love my Pivotal family - been working out here for 8-9 years. The trainers and staff are the BEST - always supportive and encouraging ❤️ When my kids were young they loved the Kids Club and now that they are teenagers they love going to workout. The trainers have been so wonderful with my teen girls, focusing on strength and body positivity. GREAT family gym!!

Do not join this gym! Beware! I repeat do not join this awful gym! have been an employee plus a member! It’s a nightmare! Customer service stinks and God forbid you need to cancel for any reason…. Total scan!

Terrible gym they will try to shark you with the contract. I signed a 1 year plan and finished the full year thinking I was done. Apparently one of the employees checked on the paper that I wanted to continue paying month by month after the year. I 100% know I didn’t do so as I took a picture of the contract when I signed it and it was not there in the picture. Even while I’m not under contract they are telling me the only way I can cancel is by sending in a letter. DO NOT GO TO THIS GYM!!!

I don’t usually leave reviews to criticize buuuuut this gym is just awful to be honest. They just changed locations in August and I along with others thought it was going to be “bigger and improved” but it’s smaller and the set up is terrible. The ceilings aren’t even done. The whole place looks like a temporary set up or simply just rushed into. Idk the gym vibes are not there..Definitely not worth the $40/month they are charging. The relocation was just a bad move.

My family of 6 love everything about the new West Ashley's Pivotal Fitness. The Pivotal environment has a sense of community as soon as you walk in. If you are looking for a great place to work out but have kids, this is your place! My kids LOVE going to the KID ZONE. The new space is laid out perfectly offering a wide range of machines and weights. The group fitness studios are spacious and inviting with awesome coaches who motivate and challenge me every single class! The trainers are well trained and know how to challenge you and push you to be the best you can be.
