Joining Planet Fitness in Ft. Oglethorpe Ga is the best thing I have done for myself in along time. Employees are so friendly and very helpful here! I feel so comfortable, while I'm working out. Definitely, a no judgement zone here! The gym is clean at all times and there is several disinfectant stations in the gym. I am so happy, I joined and so I can become the better version of myself! I highly recommend joining because you won't regret it! Plus, the monthly price of $10 + annual fee is insanely affordable!!

Was pretty good gym when it was 24/7. They had a sign on the door for 6-8 months that 3/6/22 they were going back to 24/7, and now it looks like they are going to stay 24/5 for the indefinite future, since they have 24/5 graphics on the windows.Well, I need a 24/7 gym. One of the big appeals to me was the 24/7 availability, and I left my old 24/7 gym to go to PF because of that, and I understood the Covid situation so I just stayed the course since it said 3/6 it would swap back. But I guess PF figured out they can save some money by never being open 24 hours on Friday/Saturday again, so here we are, in the process of looking for another gym. I guess I"m gonna give Workout Anytime a shot.

Just drove 20 miles to workout only to see they’re closed even though there are two different stickers that say open 24/7 on their windows. Guess I need to find a new gym

Gym is nice and kept up well. However the women's shower has been lacking hot water a couple of days. Also the locker room is warmer than the actual gym area. Everyone knows the locker room and dressing rooms should be a little cooler so when you get done with your workout you can cool down in the locker room.

Friendly but after having to make two trips back to get items the Center wanted, insurance cards and a paper check. We still could not enroll in Silver Sneakers.I had both on my phone but that was not acceptable to the system.The manager gave us a tour at 11:00 in the morning then we asked about the sign they had. He passed us on into an associate who was knowledgeable of their computer system. Then they requested the insurance cards. We drove back to our home to get them. Now it's 2:00 in the afternoon and we have to drive home a second time to get paper checks!Upon returning this time new people at the desk the manager was still there we dealt with earlier that morning but he did not even speak to us. This associate could not complete the process so she found another associate who talked her through the whole thing . She couldn't make it work. Told us to contact our insurance company by now it's after 4:00 pm.So my question is why do they have a sign posted if they can't make the system work.We left by 4:15 when they told us maybe we needed to go to a branch in Hixson Tennessee and try to enroll.The facilities looked great The price sounded reasonable. But it's not logical to me to have to pay extra when a sign is posted that you have a service available.Also the prices they quoted me are not the prices that were listed on online. Even when I showed them the prices on my phone. Again I was sent to another location in Hixson which is approximately a 45 minute drive away.This planet fitness is less than a mile from my home.Not sure what I'm going to do considering they said once I signed the contract I was responsible for 5 months of payments and the registration fee.Also who still has paper checks with him.I would suggest they use MasterCard like anyone else or at least a debit card.As for wanting routing numbers etc that could be found with the accounts that are on Smart phone.I'd be working out this morning instead I was thoroughly annoyed.

I got the deal where your first month is like a dollar or something and then they charged me a full price a few days later. I would have worked that out but the blonde girl at the front in the mornings is so rude and condescending. She talks to the customers like theyre beneath her. Its hard enough to walk into a place to workout let alone getting stared down and talked down to by staff. Dont know her name, dont care because I am cancelling.

I once gave this Planet Fitness 5 stars but since Coronavirus they don't clean like they say they do on the commercials. I go and spend 2 hours in the gym sanitizing every machine before and after each use and I also wear a mask but the very lazy employees do nothing but hang out behind the counter reading books, sitting on the counter, chatting for extended periods of time and playing on phones. They did well cleaning in the beginning of the pandemic but quickly just quit. I did complain but no one cared and made excuses as to why they weren't cleaning at all. They actually said the manager was leaving the company and just didn't care her last weeks there like thats an excusable excuse!! I finally quit going. When I have to ask for paper towels to be refilled or sanitizer bottles to be refilled, thats a problem when there are at least 4 to 6 employees there and not one of them is cleaning or doing anything at all. I am currently contemplating canceling my membership over it. I also saw many ppl walking around with no mask and not a word was said by any employee. This is not the place to go workout if you wanna be safe at all from Corona. I hate it too bcuz I've been a member since day one of this location. My son and husband also have their own membership and we all are planning on canceling. Such a shame. I, like others, have photos to back up what I've reported in this review.

Great place for your workouts! Equipment is very nice and well maintained. Staff are knowledgeable, helpful, and always friendly. Love my overall experience every time I'm here. Extremely pleased to call this my go to gym!
