Gym is well equipped and staff is nice BUT they shortened their hours at the beginning of the pandemic "due to COVID" and now they won't change it back to 24 hours. No masks are required, literally no other pandemic-related measures are being taken except for shorter operational hours. It's especially annoying on the weekends, as they close so early. Please stop being so cheap, hire someone for the night shift, and bring back the 24/7 perk!

I have been going to Otay Ranch, Chula Vista branch for several months. The staff is very nice. The faculty and equipment is clean. Although I am very frustrated with the bathroom stalls. There isn’t any toilet seat protectors. I don’t believe this is a standard for California. I lived in Northern California before moving back to Chula Vista. They have them there.Also, tanning rooms, they are clean. I have asking about the bulbs being changed. The manager told she doesn’t know when they have been changed. That’s a problem!!! They maybe not be burnt out but they are so WEAK. No one could get a tan. I pay you he black card membership, I expect them to be changed and up to date.***This is a response to the owner: if you had really read my review. You would have read I spoke with the manager. Please refer to your recorders. They didn’t even know how to find out.

I don’t even know where to begin, my son has been coming in all summer and now all of a sudden some new girl at the front desk tells him he needs a new waiver, when I already signed one. Then she was being so disrespectful, with a attitude thinking my kids ID was fake. Over all good people but the one girl absolutely killed it for all of them with just being plain disrespectful, would not come back to this horrible environment.

Super clean and spacious facility. The women's locker room is really nice as well. Equipment areas are well layer out and organized. The atmosphere is relaxed and stress free. And the hours of operation allow for a flexible workout schedule.

Let me start off by saying I truly appreciate Jeremiah who signed me up. I had taken a break from the old gym I use to go to 24/hr due to covid. Day and night difference from Planet Fitness and old gym I use to go to! This gym is so clean and well maintained. Jeremiah always addresses my questions, I always see him cleaning making it even a better experience. He has motivated me to get back on track with my health and goals in exercising regularly again. This by far is the best gym I've been to!

This gym was GREAT until they opened it up free of cost to teens. Now it's become a 'hang out' place. It is so crowded during the times I am able to go (outside of work hours) that I find myself making excuses to avoid the gym. And while I am all for healthy lifestyles and supporting young teens in their quest for health, it shouldn't impact paying members that are only able to go in the evening. I would suggest limiting the timeframe for the free teen summer pass.

I was a member here for several months and really enjoyed the facilities. Unfortunately, my kids do not go to daycare next door anymore so it is no longer so convenient. I initially called to cancel my membership and the staff were very friendly but let me know their policy is that I have to personally come in to cancel or cancel via mail, but I could make a payment over the phone. When I pointed out that California AB-390 required that businesses who sign people up online also allow them to cancel online, they let me cancel via email. I really appreciated that flexibility and willingness to listen to me even as I was cancelling my membership.

Loved it. Temperature check, limit on number of people allowed inside, great precautions taken to slow and prevent the spread of Covid-19

Nice friendly and fun environment great place to workout cleanliness is very well managed and supplies available for use by guest on equipment as well

JC in the front is the most efficient and helpful staff member in the mornings. Otay Ranch location is cleaner,well maintained vs the Broadway one.
