Great gym, but I wish they had a bathing suit wringer like other 24 hr fitness locations. I have to go to work after aqua aerobics and the wet suit is problem sitting in my car all day

The Child care ATTENDANTS are rude, and grumpy. They greeted my wife and I with a warning about their closing time. "We close at 8:30pm!" I was told this twice before I could even get my little ones shoes removed. Not cool 24 hour. Please hire people that want to be there, and be pleasant to customers. No kids=No Jobs for grumpy child care providers. Antelope is better.

My first day: I asked for a tour since it was my first time. We stood in the front and the manager pointed where things were. Wow okay. 2nd thought I will stay to myself best idea ever. Next few times just got stared at my staff not other members creepy. (Am I using the machine wrong what? No they rather stay quite and not move from their station) Recently went in. Started to do simple things by trx station. Never once was I told by the personal trainer she was going to use the whole area. Until, I finally was about to use one of the machines. And with attitude she walked over to another station. And said use that one. Honestly almost the whole staff need a check on working in a gym. Everyone here is irritable, unprofessional and I would not like any of them to be my trainer. Use the machines alone and Google how to use machines they will be effective and reliable.

I was hesitant to write this review because there are things about the gym that I like, but there is one thing about the gym that is just a continuous inconvenience to me. I have a toddler and there are days I keep her home from school or pick her up after 1:30 on Fridays; when this happens and I want to go to the gym, I have to wait for the kids club to open. I don't think it's fair to charge for the kids club when their hours dictate when I get to workout. How are you going to make your gym 24 hours, but then tell those who have children they can't use your gym until the kids play area opens? Not making very much sense to me. I wanted to get in an evening workout with my mother this evening and let my daughter play, but of course on Fridays the play area closes at 1:30... Seriously inconvenient! Not a very happy club member at all right now.

Staff is nice, variety of classes, equipment on the floor is good. The pool is often cold. The locker room needs more upkeep, often one of the showers needs repair, the same area along the wall has been missing tile for more than a year. The pool area often doesn't look super clean. Sometimes the pool is very clear for swimming, but other times is cloudy. The temperature changes from one to the other.

I'm disappointed with this location. 3 showers don't work. Locker room is dirty. Dirt is everywhere. Equipment is old. No respect to customers.

I love this gym. The staff is friendly, gym is clean, and even when it's packed you can find a machine.I've visited other 24 hour fitness locations (Rohnert Park, Santa Barbara, Costa Mesa) and this is my favorite. No ridiculous machinery, not a lot of idiots, and equipment set-up makes sense (i.e. leg machines are in one general area, arms, abs, etc.). There's nothing more frustrating than going to a new gym and everything is sporadically placed, not allowing you to get the most out of your workout. If you actually want to lift, this is a great place.

Despite the mostly negative reviews about 24 hour fitness, and the Citrus Heights location specifically, I decided to check it out myself. I found the gym to be well maintained, clean, the people knowledgeable, with plenty of cardio machines, free weights and weight machines. I checked out the locker room, pool, bathrooms, etc, and they were clean and well stocked. Based on my experience there, I signed up for membership for myself and 12 year old granddaughter. We also signed up for sessions with personal trainers. I thought these sessions seemed a little pricey, but we are so happy with them! I would recommend a membership here to my friends.

Poor , to horrible conditions. What a joke, you want to use the best machines that are state of the art ? Don't go here, all the equipment is very, very old. All the oldest equipment from the other 24 HR. Fitness locations.....When it go's down for repair ( which is quite often ) it will be at least two months for it to go back on line. Do they charge less for the inconvenience, NO.....I am writing this because now the steam room, the sauna and pool are down for 3 MONTHS. Yep..3 months, Starting October 20, 2014.With the name they have made for themselves you would expect better from them...
