My buddy and I are shopping around for a gym to choose that’s accessible at night due to late shifts. I’ve had memberships with 3 of the 4 fitness gym giants and liked some aspects of 24 hour fitness. Called the store 15 minutes till close tonight because the company name says “24 Hour Fitness” and saw speculation online that’s confused on whether the limited hours are just when they’re staffed or if the entire gym is closed despite its misleading name. Dude was snippy with me simply asking a question about obviously confusing and misleading hours by the name like I was dumb for not understanding if a company with the name 24 hour, isn’t open 24 hours, I should’ve already been able to tell that before I called to verify. My apologies. No wonder this company is going down the toilet. Anytime fitness it is.

Place is excellent! First time here and noticed an employee walking around actually doing what he loves! Helping with form, keeping the pace clean, making sure every inch of his job fundamentals were exceeding expectations!Said his name is Gary... guy deserves a promotion!

I just signed back up and the club decided to retro the 4 months I was out and charge me for 4 months of membership at once! when I provided my bank information I was not told this would happen. I am switching gyms and disputing this charge as well as filing a complaint with the BBB. Thieves.

This gym is spacious and that’s my favorite thing about it, I don’t feel like I’m packed in with a bunch of people like I do at other locations. It’s not terrible but it could use some upgrades for sure. Usually when I walk in I’m greeted with a “Hi! How are you?” But tonight both the guys at the front were on their phones and laughing, not even paying attention the people walking in. It helps the atmosphere of a place when you have employees that will take that extra step to be kind. The machines could be cleaned better, there’s always gunk and dust build up on a lot of them.

The male maintenance worker insists on cleaning/shutting down the women’s locker room during peak hours (ie: before work, multiple women needing to shower). I have mentioned this to the front desk on multiple occasions but his behavior has not changed. The lack of regard makes women who work out here feel unsafe when showering or changing here before work. Please hire a female for this job, this current workflow is going to eventually result in an event that exposes a female unknowingly, causing corporate notification.

I am new to 24 Hour Fitness and was very unimpressed! Upon entering the gym the guy at front desk never looked up from his cellphone to great me or any other member for that matter. So rude and unprofessional! Some of the gym equipment is very dated and inoperable! The overall cleanliness of the gym was basic. You cannot find a paper towel holder that has paper towels in it. The ladies restroom was nasty! Yes nasty. The trash has be full each time I've visited the gym and it is overall unkept even after a pandemic and uptick in Covid cases! I wanted and new experience at new gym but this isn't it!!!!

they should definitely get new more equipment, most of the machines are old, it gets really busy in the mornings by 5am it's already packed. The smith machine by the women restrooms needs to get updated it's really old and rusty really hard to get our work out done 😞 I paid $30 a month for 24 hour membership not worth it.. will be going back to retro fitness they have ALL New Machines and its $12.95 a month no contract.

Coming from a neighboring state i cannot believe the conditions of these gyms. After getting a membership that is $39.99 and just looking at the conditions of the equipment i was appalled. All of these old 24 hour fitness gyms need a SERIOUS update. Please take notes from EOS fitness’s that are coming very soon to the Dallas area.
