Cool gym. Parking can be tricky. The gym gets cleaned frequently. I'm happy with this location and the staff! This is a update from my previous review

Throughout the entire pandemic, planet fitness has never once required or enforced masks. When things were really bad I walked into the frisco location to see a group of young teenage boys, unmasked, and sweating and talking. The desk person refused to even talk to them. I found this typical for the entitled Frisco demographic, but it wasn't any different in the Dallas alpha location. You might be planet fitness but you're also planet irresponsible and unaccountable.

Items got stolen, management didn't care about looking at the camera, or trying to make it right. Canceled membership, disappointing. Reply to manager: And no it wasn't in the locker room, your front desk employee told me I could put my jacket in the front lockers by the front.

Do not come here especially in these times. I’ve been wondering why I got so sick recently and found out they have been putting only water in the ‘sanitizing’ bottles. So gross to think about smearing other peoples sweat and germs everywhere with only water. Gonna be canceling my membership if I can’t find a location that uses real sanitizer.

I practically come here everyday to do a little workout, take a shower, and sit on that God sent massage chair, and hydrobed.The front desk staff are always super nice, no matter what time I come in. So the staff and facility equipment get a 5 star from me. HOWEVER! Whoever is in charge of sanitation/maintenence, gets a 0, and so does some of the members. The female showers, and bathrooms are disgusting! I literally seen the same string of hairs, and a piece of plastic packaging from someone's shampoo bottle (I assume) for a week straight, in one of the stalls. Black mold/dirt seems to be growing between the grout. And the bathroom stalls always seems to be overflowing with sanitary napkinsPlanet Fitness yah can do better! Get rid of whoever not doing their cleaning job, and hire someone that will. And, whatever nasty grown member that don't know how to pickup after themselves should be fined.One of those nasty, disgusting, savage animals left a bloody sanitary napkin, and dirty socks in one of the changing stalls.

Racism still exist! I was kicked out the gym and gym membership cancelled all because KAREN didn't want me to bring a FOAM CUP in that was left in my locker while i worked out. KAREN was trying to use her little bit of porter potty authority she had to have me removed because i paid her no attention and out my heads phones back on. Dont worry corporate has gotten involved. Another KAREN trying to abuse a little power for $11.50 there is no way this should have happen over a foam cup that was left in the locker room while i worked out. Everyone has had a problem or a encounter with her trying to abuse her power while she stands at the counter her entire shift and the others work never cleans or disinfect anything never whipes down any equipment or clean any restroom just standing guard watching and harassing people as they work out.. Creepy KAREN watching while she does nothing.

It's alright, employees do their best, but there are often broken machines that take weeks to fix and I believe it's because this location is very small and doesn't get priority from the company. If it wasn't the closest to me I wouldn't go to this location, but it gets the job done.

Today, I got my Cellphone stolen from Planet fitness when I was in the Shower on the way to work. I went to the front desk and asked the shift Supervisor can I use the landline to report my phone stolen. He stated he was busy with two other guys guys at the desk. That alone was very unprofessional. I need my Cell phone for work. My banking information was on my phone. I understand Planet fitness is not responsible for my property. But not to create further injustices I needed to use the landline for my protection of my assets. Something has to be done, I'm a Black Card member who's loyal to the company. Let's make sure this never happens again.

Judgement free my ***. The employees here are pretentious and discriminate against those who seem to be lower class. I was harassed after using the restroom, specifically when my husband walked in and away from me, because my payment is a few days late. This has never been an issue before at any other gym I've been to, yet at this gym, in this extremely wealthy area, we get treated like we aren't welcome. The app will not let you sign in if you aren't allowed in, yet I was able to sign myself and my husband in. This is not how any other planet fitness I've been to has operated, and they denied me and my husband service, when my account is still active with a blackcard. On top of that, their bathrooms are gross and their employees don't look like they even use the gym.....

Definitely go find another gym.This one is WAY too small. And there’s way too many people too close together for my taste…It’s always terribly hot and humid, it feels disgusting to actually breath in there.The staff are nice but this Planet fitness is super low quality compared to others I’ve been to.
