i’ve been a pf member for over two years and visited a lot of the dayton and cincinnati locations… this one is easily the dirtiest. dirty enough to leave a review but i now see many people have been commenting on it for months and nothing has changed. sad

always felt judged being a girl at this gym. what i already knew was never taken seriously.. felt like the trainers thought i knew nothing about fitness just because i was a girl. it was kind of offensive some of the stuff that would be said sometimes. i left and go to a different gym now

2 employees on there phones at front desk meanwhile the paper towels are empty in 4 dispensers. The mold in the men's locked room ceiling is awfully alarming. Hmmm Let's take some pride peeps. We aare paying for a healthy environment aren't we? Other than not a good place.

compared to my regular planet fitness is fields ertel, this was a disaster.. you couldn’t tell which weight you have selected while choosing your preferred weight, they didn’t have half of the equipment that are in my original routine, even the locker rooms… they’re small and cramped and don’t have half the upgrades that the one in fields ertel has. also the tanning beds… i’ve never even heard of the ones they have. they don’t have the bronzer bed, the beauty angel.if you are a regular PF attender I advise you check out the fields ertel location. as it will actually quite literally blow your mind in comparison to this dump. or any other PF for that matter, it doesn’t take much to surpass this one.

First time going to this Planet Fitness, will definitely be the last time I go to this location. Missing a lot of machines the one I usually go to. Also machines seem outdated. Seems poorly kept, refrigerator was basically empt and locker room was pretty bad too.

This location has gone so downhill. It used to be a clean, nice place to work out and now it’s disgustingly dirty. A literal layer of dust in the gym (see images). Piles of dust that have been there for weeks. Employees sit on their phones instead of cleaning and doing their jobs. Broken machines and a broken massage chair. I’ve been signing in since I belong to the Sugarcreek location and don’t have a keychain, and the employee who I just had to WAKE UP FROM A NAP then DEMANDED that I download the app and told me it wasn’t his job to call Sugarcreek and check if I was a member. I guess it’s just his job to take naps on the massage bed we pay to use while an overflowing waste bin sits five feet away. The only reason I give it two stars is because it’s large enough to work out without other people breathing directly on you. What a sad decline for this location.Edit: drove all the way over to Sugarcreek to get a keychain barcode only to be told PF no longer uses them. Maybe the employees at this location could have told me this? Maybe that’s not their job either. Also, the employee I woke up from a nap is the SAME ONE other reviews have cited as rude and dismissive, constantly playing video games at the desk. What does it take to do something about people not doing their job???Second edit in response to the owner’s comment: What more do you need from me?? I just explained the entire interaction. Do something about it or don’t.

I don't blame the employees for leaving. Working for 10 an hour is a joke. The manager, Jrue and the trainer are the only ones running around doing all of the work while the revolving door employees play on their phones. The head manager gina is rude as hell. The facilities are falling apart, archaic equipment, holes in the ceilings, TV's are broke, tanning beds are always down. Corporate needs to take this place over.

So my first PF experience was at the Middletown location and they were AWESOME. I signed up for black card membership based on my experience there. At the Centerville location the staff was not welcoming, had their eyes glued to their phones and then when I asked to use the tanning bed post-workout they did not offer any towels or eye protection like the Middletown location does. Super sketch, all kinds of safety and hygiene issues there. Only rating a 2 due to the variety of equipment and accessible hours.

This planet fitness is absolute trash. Everything is always dirty and a bench broke while working out on it and the one time I used the tanning beds here it’s FILTHY with sweat residue covering it and like 6 bulbs out and two going out and literally look like they’re on fire. Nothing is maintained here. It’s understandable because every time I’m here the workers just sit behind the desks on their phones. Workers need to do better. Management - do your jobs!

By far the worst maintained planet fitness I have been to, locker room wise. One of the sinks is missing a handle, no paper towels, a stall was completely out of TP, and there was blood stain on a toilet seat. I brought it up to one of the staff and they seemed bothered about the issue because they couldn't even get into the locker room last night since there is always someone in there. So, I guess we are just going to neglect the bathrooms then.On the good news, it seemed that the sanitation stations was being maintained and the customers are good about sanitizing after themselves.
