When I joined Planet Fitness I mentioned needing help with the machines. No one offered to help me. I kept paying monthly and finally called and asked could I schedule to meet with someone to go over the use of some of the machines. I was told someone would get back with me. After waiting a month and no calling I called back. Again no one called. I stopped in last Sunday ready to get to someone to help me and was told they would have someone contact me. I was told I would hear something within a 24 hours. I waited until Thursday and had no contact so I went in to cancel membership. The lady was on the phone and whisper what did I need. I told her I wanted to cancel. She never got off the phone or ask me why. Just told me to sign. I received my cancellation by email which said reason for cancellation: I was to busy. No they were to busy!!

This is a good gym, clean equipment and plenty of exercise machines and weights to go around. They provide pizza once a month, which seems counter productive, but that’s my opinion. The staff is friendly and I enjoy the massage chairs after a workout. I’ve never had a problem but have also never been “wowed”.

There is always something not working here. Right now both toilets in the men's bathroom have no working lights (pic attached), one of the men's changing stalls has no lights also. Only one hand dryer works and only one of two fountains work. All of these have been problems since I first joined in 2016 (except pooping in the dark, that started at least 2 months ago). They need more workout machine variety, there are certain machines only available in the circuit training area that you aren't supposed to use unless you're in the circuit. Decent place to work out for $10/month, but there are some much better planet fitness facilities around.

The location itself and the variety of machines is the only reasons for 2 stars. When I became a member in 2016 this particular location was a pretty decent gym. Staff was friendly and most importantly the place was clean. I am a Black Card Member and I have not used the tanning beds or any other "perks" that I pay for monthly due to my concerns with the cleanliness of this establishment.Upon my visit last night. Literally every stall in the women's restroom was unusable. The feminine products was cans were in every one were so full they were overflowing onto the floor. 3 of the toilets had feces splattered on them. The smell was so bad that we chose to just wait until we got home. I know that people can be gross and accidents can happen at no fault of the employees but this nastiness is nothing more than pure laziness and neglect. i used to shower here often after working out. With how gross the place is now that is not even an option.The trash cans have been removed from most areas so people just throw their dirty paper towels down wherever and the trash cans that are out were overflowing onto the floor.I was at the gym for 2 hours yesterday and witnessed employees behind the counter so I know they had to have seen the same cleaning issues that I did but no one attempted to clean anything, empty a trash can, fill some of the empty sanitizer bottles, etc....There is always dust piled up on the machines from not being cleaned but that I can deal with I just cannot accept nastiness.I am currently shopping around for a new gym and I will definitely be canceling my membership if I find one that suits my needs. I am very disappointed with the condition of this particular PF location. My advice is to take the extra time and drive to the Middletown or Hamilton PF. Their locations are much cleaner and the fact they are open 24/7 is another added bonus!

Been working out here for a few months now and have been quite content. Tons of treadmills, lots of space, plenty of machines, plenty of free weights, really good hours, always clean enough. I generally go in the morning before work and use the showers and stuff. Equipment occasionally does break but I've never seen something be out of service more than a day or so.

Love the gym, but not a fan that they've recently been allowing kids in. I picked this gym specifically because of its age limit...I work with kids, so when I get off an 8 hour day at work I'd like to be able to break a sweat without feeling like I have to monitor myself. Reported the issue to the front and was told nothing could be done without speaking to the manager. And they've taken away the towels they used to offer. Will patron another gym if this isn't resolved...and I've been going there a few times a week for about a year.

I joined this gym a few years ago. It was okay to start out. I enjoyed the circuit area until all the machine hogs started squatting on the machines for 20-30 minutes at a time. I complained to the staff and they put up a sign, but it was about useless. The low monthly fee brings in a lot of young people who take up all the machines and benches for long periods of time and they never wipe anything down. If all I ever wanted was a treadmill, I'd be set, but I want to use the weights as well. The current staff is also pretty useless. The never greet me or say goodbye. They usually never even make eye contact. I also never received my free shirt when i signed up. I am okay paying a little more at another gym for a more satisfactory workout. I will be ending my membership here soon.

Have only been a member for 2 weeks and I am already going to cancel my membership. Some of the staff is great, some are not including the manager. Very disappointed and unhappy. I will take my business else where.

Not overly impressee... . Never got the free tshirt or the gym tour. Front desk folks seem very disengaged. I have never seen a personal trainer in the joint. And answer me this.... How do you not have a single scale anywhere in the gym? Your there to lose weight right? Not even one in the locker room.. So I asked and was told it was part of the no judgment philosophy. What? Is my name and weight gonna pop up on the TVs when I step on the scale? Seriously?

It's ok, staff is hardly at front desk and when they are, they aren't friendly. But, you still get beat the Planet Fitness business model for those that travel extensively. Definitely wouldn't want to work out here regularly.
