i literally never write reviews but some situations call for a review and i just wanted to say how professional gigi is and how well she handles situations. after COUNTLESS phone calls to get an issue sorted i finally ended up on the phone with her and went in to sort it out. she was very level headed and fixed the payment issue while i was still there. extremely satisfied and i respect how well it was all handled!

The experience at this particular Planet Fitness took me by surprise! At first, I was very hesitant to join in large part due to the bad feedback I had read concerning the Lunk Alarm and overall treatment by Staff. But after being here for 6 months now, all of those pre-conceived ideas are rubbish. I have not heard the Lunk Alarm go off a single time. While the staff could use improvement in their customer service skills, there are staff members who are particularly nice like Toni. He's probably the only genuine staff member I've meet. He smiles and warmly greets you upon arrival. I also like the fact that the machines are relatively newer and kept in clean working order. The vibe at this gym in somewhat dull. Members tend to keep to themselves and in the period of 6 months I have not made any friends here with the big exception of running into former Miss Rio de Janeiro, Brazil! Yes, that is a highlight I have to share because I seldom run into people of her caliber at gyms. She's the nicest person ever and it warms my heart to see her working out at this gym. If you look good, you won't miss her! The other thing I like is the locker room is kept clean and tidy. Parking is never an issue either. One last thing, most gyms are packed between 5 pm & 7:30 pm. This one is not. You can comfortably walk-in at 6pm and find available equipment for use.

The staff is HORRIBLE!! My contract ends on 10/15/2021 but they literally argued me down and told me that I was stuck in the contract until November. Once again, I had to call corporate. I am so disgusted with the staff there that not only did I stop going but cancelled. Mind you, I’ve tried other Planet Fitness gyms, and the staff was the same. They all seem to have poor attitudes and are poorly trained. I will never go to their gyms again!!!

The space is too small for how many people use this club. Going in the evenings is a nightmare. They don’t have actual squat racks and the selection of free weights is incredibly small. Staff is nice enough, but they are deceptive regarding cancellation policies. I would heavily recommend using any other gym.

Long Horror Story:Modern day scam. Signing up for this gym has been my greatest financial downfall. The moment I signed up they began charging me on two cards. (They had me put in two cards when signing up because there was a mistake the first time around). It was fixed and I talked to the manager who assured me it wouldn't happened again... until it did 2 months later. I received a job opportunity that took me out of the state so I told the manager I would like to cancel but since I actually enjoyed my work outs and location I would like to get my sister to sign up. I was told to just transfer my name into hers and change the card. I got finessed HARD.. Since I've moved away in August I have been charged every month since EVEN after I had my sister go in on November and cancel in person.The scam is in how they have no 1-800 to voice your concerns when you move away. Also I was never given a cancellation form and nor was my sister instead we were told by the front desk it was canceled. I am out over $300 of extra funds and I just had to cancel my whole bank account so they could no longer drain it. Please beware!

I was told I was joining as a month to month membership. I told them I wanted to use the tanning beds and they said I needed to choose the black card option. At no point was I told by choosing that selection that I was signing a contract for 1 year. I’m not even going to be here in 1 year. I was never told about the age restriction either so I try to bring my son with me and they immediately ask us to leave as he isn’t old enough to even be in the building. The female assistant manager was incredibly rude about the whole thing and had absolutely no problem with immediately canceling my membership when I said I’m done with this gym and it’s inconsistent information. That’s when she says you’re under a contract and I’m never going to waive your cancellation fee. I requested to speak to the general manager and she said come back tomorrow I’m not giving you his information. This place is a joke. Do not go here, you will get scammed and jacked around.

I feel completely comfortable working out there. The staff is constantly cleaning and sanitizing and we do our part by sanitizing behind ourselves as we go. The staff wear masks and encourage them. They do all they can to make it safe to stay fit during the COVID climate.

I love the gym overall. I love the people who work there. They are always nice and respectful. I enjoy the customers who come. Most are there to work out and not bother you for any reason. It's convenient with the hours of operation and most times all the equipment that I want to use is available. Planet Fitness is a great gym! The one off I35 in Denton.

We are very pleased with every visit we have had at this location. We really enjoy working out in this atmosphere. The employees are always very welcoming and always make sure we are taken care of. Great place to workout, tan and enjoy a massage. Cleanliness is a big deal in my book and it definitely meets my standards.

My home gym is Plano TX.I happen to be in Denton I really loved this location.The staff Amina and Britt were so friendly, helpful and professional. The gym was so well maintained and cleaned I was so impressed.
