MASK POLICY:Tonight while actively working out I was asked to pull my mask over my face. I inquired of the employee about the statement on PF website about not having to cover your mouth when "actively" working out. I was told that was for select locations. I didnt make a fuse b/c i like PF but I felt like that information wasn't correct. I contacted corporate who reaffirmed in a email, "effective August 1, all Planet Fitness members (you!) & guests will be required to wear a mask inside our clubs when moving through the facility, except when actively working out".At all other times I place my mask over my face in accordance with the requirements. Please update the employees at this location OR provide a written statement that supercede corporates decision. I will gladly update my review to 5 stars when the employees are informed OR the members are properly made of aware of the differing stance this location is taking.I do enjoy PF very much & am grateful they are among the few that have opened upUPDATE: Thank you for reaching out & clarifying. Perhaps a notice clarifying PF & the State would be helpful because I am aware of other PF members in the state who were/are under the same belief about mask due to the websites statement.

The facility is clean and the equipment is clean as well. I like the abundance of treadmills and the different sizes that they have of medicine balls. My favorite thing is the hydro massage chair.

Girl at front desk gives us a rude look every time we come in or leave because we had our headphones in once and did not say bye back to her. To which she said “Whatever” when we did so. We are about to cancel our membership as we do not feel comfortable walking in with such rude staff greeting us. This is a reoccurring issue, and I hope it gets resolved for future members.

Today was my first day back since the pandemic. Gym are clean, with cleaning supplies everywhere for you to use before and after workout. Felt safe being there. Staff is great as always.

Staff and gym itself are great. Only issue I have is with the overall cleanliness. I wipe down the area of the floor where I do most of my training so I’m able to set personal items (towel, water bottle, etc.) next to my mat and the amount of dirt/grime that comes up is horrendous and concerning. I’ve watched an employee attempt to “clean” the stair master by taking the mop and running it down the steps. Having witnessed those stated above doesn’t provide me any assurance that the rest of the facility is maintained or cleaned properly, or thoroughly.*I would like to state that I am well aware it is a floor where people walk and sweat. However, this happens on days I come in early as well as in the evening. Although I’ve wiped my area using plenty of solution and towels it seems to be a very thick layer covering the floor. Point being, it’s not cleaned regularly.

Really nice, smaller gym. They really seem to strive for their motto of it being a judgment free place to work out. To get the most of it, you do need to get the more expensive black card membership but if you just want to work out, the less expensive one is just fine. Equipment is nice and well maintained. Staff is friendly. I love that it's open 24/7. Overall, it's a really good choice for anyone looking to get in shape.

I’ve never had a negative experience at this location and have been going for a few years. The staff is inviting and warm. They make it a priority to know your name and make you feel welcome. The manager, Reggie S., creates a positive environment, and is always willing to put in the work to help his team. The facility is kept clean which is especially important during the current pandemic.

I'm not one for raising hell and causing trouble but here we go.Dear Reggie from Planet Fitness on South IH-35 in Denton,Texas if you wouldn't have been such an unprofessional when I called your gym yesterday morning to try and get a refund for my cancelled membership (granted it was cancelled after the 10th) for what is an obvious medical issue by feeding me the BS line about you having to pay a fee to iniate a refund and also stating that your location relies on fees to keep your gym location afloat. My response to this was to point out that by raising your voice and not even attempting to work with me on the situation that you are going to cost your location money as whenever I was medically cleared for physical activity you possibly could have gotten me to re-sign to the gym and was a one month refund worth you losing a member of over 1 year you hung up on me I hope that this message finds it's way around this social media platform and no one ever signs up for your location as their home gym until you learn how to be a professional.Sorry about the novel guys.To the owner, the way I was treated by your manager and your by the number response to my complaint shows me that you and your location have no intention on working with me on this problem even though I have been in the hospital since March 2nd with a severely degloved left leg and your gyms do not allow you to cancel memberships over the phone...I am not from Denton and I have no family up here...I had to rely on a friend of mine who is a full time student and holds a full time job to cancel my membership in person because I obviously wasn't going to be able to walk into your gym, but due to her understandably busy schedule she wasn't able to make before the 10th of the month...I just don't understand why no one in this company is willing to work with me due to the extreme circumstance of my situation

This is a good place. All new equipment clean good locker room good air flow on the gym floor. T.V's ....everyone just working out doing there own thing.....I like the place...
