Texas Family Fitness

I have been a member here for nearly 20 years (it used to be called Express Fitness before it became Texas Family Fitness). The price was reasonable, the staff was generally friendly and the machines were mostly working.However, the new General Manager they have there now is the worst I have ever seen there. I attempted to give him some feedback today and he got agitated and started yelling at me. In fact, he even told me to "get out of my club".If upper management of this club cares one bit about maintaining a minimum standard of customer service without which this place will soon go out of business, they can get in touch with me for more detailed feedback.UPDATE: I NEVER HEARD BACK FROM THIS CLUB'S MANAGEMENT DESPITE SEVERAL EMAILS SENT TO THE EMAIL ADDRESS THEY PROVIDED IN RESPONSE TO THIS REVIEW.FINALLY, THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS IN THE PHILLIPINES WERE NO ONE APPEARS TO UNDERSTAND ENGLISH.

Do not recommend, some of the worst customer service ever! I reached out because I was in town for a week and I wanted to purchase a week pass, I wasn’t even looking at trying to come in for free. I was willing to pay for a week membership and I stated that in my phone call as well as my email. I was told to reach out to Roan Spargo, so I emailed and getting a response was like pulling teeth. Needless to say I never got a response, so I took my business elsewhere and even sent a final email thanking them for never responding to my email!

This is the TFF HQ and they don’t open on time, equipment is falling apart, and people sweat all over machines ( pools of s sweat at the base of machines)and don’t clean up after themselves, all while staff play in their phones behind the desk. This place is DISGUSTING.

Doesn’t open on time regularly. Some days 20-30 people wait 30-45 minutes for the gym to open. This is just from the last 3 weeks. Phone numbers posted go unanswered. Regularly call The Colony location to get assistance.

Honestly, this gym would be great if it opened on time. There have been over 4 incidences where I (among others) have waited outside 30+ minutes after the hour of opening. It’s ridiculous. This is the only location with this issue. What are we paying for? It’s a gamble every time we go.

Gym is NEVER open on time.On Saturdays they are suppose to be open at 7, but we are lucky if they open at 7:45 or 8.And when the dude finally shows up he has the worst attitude ever! Yelling at the members about how he had to close the night before so that excuses why he is an hour late today!Its a joke. Total clown.Join some other place, heck do pushups at home instead of this place.

Very horrible service... 0 stars.. . Please check this before taking membership.Even if you cancel your membership , they will still charge your credit card. When I went personally in gym to cancel the membership then they said they will cancel and they didn't do. They charged me for next 2 months. I am going to file case against them"Very bad company and unprofessional customer support. very unprofessional.. they just know how to take money from credit cards.."

DO NOT GO HERE. I was in town for 12 days and signed up for a 1 month member ship and got talked into doing 4 sessions of personal training. When I called to cancel before I left town they said I can only cancel in person. So I went in and signed for everything. Turns out they’ve already billed me $200 for services after I cancelled my membership and they keep trying to bill me to the point I had to freeze my card because nobody picks up or knows who to refer me to. Don’t give this place your business. They deserve to go bankrupt.

Please don’t go for this business, they said something at the time of join and signed on different agreements and if you are giving the credit card they are charging any amount without confirming and bank also not blocking this transaction. I am regretting that when I thought to go there to join, please please please be make distance with these guys and organization
