Colorado Athletic Club Union Station/16th Street

The management team for this place is absolutely terrible. They are closing this location with LESS THAN A 30 DAY NOTICE. It’s hysterical that the previous post states they require a 30 day cancellation notice… Further, their hours SUCK, their floor layout doesn’t make any sense and they only have three squat racks. Don’t join this gym.

Colorado Athletic Club UNION STATION (Denver) is an absolute SCAM! They have been over charging me for MONTHS. Sam Fujiware , a membership representative, completely misrepresented the monthly membership cost , in order to gain more commission. I have sent them many emails complaining about the incorrect charge, I was told it would be corrected. It never was. I have not received ANY support or follow through. I have asked to cancel my membership SEVERAL times in person , via email , and phone calls. AND they were still charging me! I had to get a new bank card to stop being charged. I would never recommend ANY person to sign up with this location. Mind you I have been a member with this location for 3/4 years. I would never do this again! I am really happy that E-Gym opened down the street. They are MUCH better with customer service.

Out of town for the weekend and looking for a yoga class. The session this morning was terrific! Excellent resources, reasonable daily rate, and wonderful class. Thanks for allowing drop ins and offering a daily rate!Next time I am in Denver, I will certainly be back!

Pretty good facilities (although no smith machine, no crunch machines, the leg press machine doesn't go all the way down...)The staff are nice, when things are going well, but if you want to pause your membership, watch out: even after nearly a year of month-to-month membership, they will happily agree, then charge you $20 per month for nothing without telling you except in fine print. If you have to cancel, it's a lot worse: they will require you to continue paying for at least an entire extra month, even if you cancel before the next renewal.

I truly cant believe this place is still open with the rent as is high as it is...

Closing at 4:00pm makes my membership pretty useless.

The one worker Sevina.. she gets the 5 stars for the whole place. She knew where everything was when it came to weights and knew right where the medicine balls were. Couldn’t have asked for better service.
