Please train your sales desk people how to interact with people. I happened to be in town on business and asked one simple question about a temporary membership or something to that effect so I could workout. This gentleman couldn't answer the question but preceded to speed read, barely taking a breath, barely fully pronouncing his words this long script about the club and it's membership options.

ALERT ALERT!!! I think the others who say this gym is good are reviewing the wrong gym. The gym is filthy the lockers rooms always have the same trash all over for days they seem to never clean them. The machines themselves do not function properly, NONE of the cardio machine have the sensors working for the heart rate so you can't use the different features on them you can only use the manual or quick start. More than half are missing the cup holders so your bottle of water has to be on the floor. When you are on the cardio you have someone whipping their hair all over the place and arms flapping all over like a fish out of the water because they are using the machines backwards, this is no exaggeration I wish I could have taken a video to prove it. Just to park you have to drive around 15 minutes and then fight over a parking spot because they share the parking lot with the school. This companies business model is a scam first the get you in with a cheap monthly payment then sucker you when it comes to an annual membership fee then if you are a black card member you pay double a regular member BUT the regular member can cancel whenever they want however a black card member has to wait for 12 months or pay another fee. I signed up and used the gym for 2 weeks after I asked to cancel and they said I had a commitment of 12 months since I was a black card member and if I wanted to cancel now I would need to pay a fee well if your gym is so great and clean why not give people the grace period... oh I know why because you know people are going to cancel under the 12 month period so you had to charge the fee. Another scam this gym is in Detroit NOT Dearborn. There is nothing wrong with that but why would not say its Detroit.

This is by far the worst planet fitness I've ever been to. Girls are wearing sports bras, guys are wearing string tank tops and carrying water jugs, people are on the machines face timing, and the machines are never wiped down by customers. I now have to wipe the machines down before I use them, and after I use them because I caught a rash from the dirtiness of the machines. I've never seen the staff wipe the machines either; tons of staff, but always eating or standing around at the desk. Will not return or recommend. All the standard "planet fitness rules" broken and not enforced at this location.

I am disappointed. I just moved from out of state. I am looking for a gym to sign up with. I went here a little before 10pm. I am in workout clothes and amped about working out again. And being a nurse, my schedule fluctuates. I thought a 24 hour gym would be great.They gave me membership options. I asked to pay for today and work out while I weigh my options and come back and sign up. I tried paying the $20 day rate w my bank card that i always use as a credit card. Their system only accepted it as a debit card. I have a master card logo on my card. It's used as credit as well. And I don't have a pin for it cause I never use it that way.I asked them what my options were and they turned me away. They made no effort in keeping me as a customer. I don't Blame them. It's not their business. They're just workers. Who cares if they can keep me. And what's $10 a month if they lose one potential customer.They had me embarrassed and i walked out. Looks like I may have to go to LA fitness. I'll tell my cousins my experience as well. Hopefully when they sign up for their gym they choose LA fitness as well. I don't want them to go through what I went through.

It's nicer since the remodel, I go during low traffic times. The staff changes often, but they are generally very nice. It seems to stay cleaner since the remodel as well. Love access to all the services, which are always in working order, just wish for one of those lie down tanning beds like Farmington hills has.

I've been a member since October 2015. Its cool I 💙💚💜 the total body enhancement but its been down twice since I started 😓this last time was the longest (3 weeks). The staff keeps it clean (average) they could do more walk throughs. Its my home gym. It works for me Im down 30 lbs. …

I signed up $5 down and $10 a month in the store ! And then a couple days later they tell me I signed up online and I did a black card membership so they charged me extra $20 I came in and talked to the manager and he told me the $20 will be split towards 2 monthly bills ! And that was last month , now I get charged another $10 and they tell me talk to my " general manager " this is bullshit and I'm going to dispute it towards my bank ! You guys are scammers and especially you're workers are lazy they don't do nothing at all! Just sit and try to boss people and act cocky! La fitness is way better then you guys.

I have not had any problems here. Right now I am taking a dump in their wonderfully clean bathroom at 3 am because I am a bit odd. This is a great place to workout too.

Mt father had been a member since they opened. Always loved it. He is a night time work out guy. But over the past few months he is getting annoyed. No cleaning solution in the bottles. Steroids are making a show there. And judgments are happening on a daily buy the young guns. It's upsetting to him. The staff does not show any intrest at all in the place. They do nothing but stand at the desk. This is just the night shift. He says the day crew is awesome and up to par. So get your stuff together night crew!

I joined this location a couple days ago, and have no complaints so far. Not too crowded, a good variety of machines, and a friendly staff. My rating may go higher after I spend a bit more time here, working with trainers and utilizing more equipment.
