This used to be my home gym, i changed for a few different reasons even though I live 3 miles away. I went in this morning and a staff member was disrespectful and I was embarrassed and left right away. I am not certain why he chose to engage me in such a manner, but it was inappropriate and condescending. There was a staff member present that witnessed the interaction, that sees me on a regular basis. He seemed embarrassed for me as well. I am not certain the reason for his poor behavior, but that is not my concern. I pay for my membership and I am respectful, the expectation is to receive the same treatment.

The worst customer service experience I've ever experienced and this is coming from someone that has and is currently working in customer service. I recently notice that I was being charged again for my membership, this how I found out my gym was back open. No notice was sent stating such. I attempted to cancel my membership but was advised that I would have to put myself and my immuno compromised household at risk to cancel my membership in person at the club. While visiting the club to cancel said membership employees were not practicing the guidelines set forth ...they were not 6ft apart and they were not wearing masks properly thus confirming my reasoning to not wanting to go in person. While there the associate I spoke with played the blame game that it was not their doing in regards to cancelation and the inability to refund any fees but that it was corporates. They also suggested that we contact customer service but when doing so we are told to contact the club...So really no one is willing to assist you unless you are making them moneyAlso I have attempted to contact the better business bureau but unfortunately said location is not listed.

I love this gym, been a member there for 3yrs and I never had a negative experience there...until this morning. 9/29/18, the young man at the desk was grumpy and rude. I greeted him with my customary cheery "Good Morning", and got not a word in response. This caused me to look a little closer during my workout, and I noted that he greeted all the men and women his age level with at least a hello, but he kept pacing, looking out the window, and everyone MY age group got not so much as a mumbled response. I'm not there to impress anyone, and not likely to anytime soon. However, this left a bad taste in my mouth and the young man needs to improve his people skills before I light him up personally!

Awful! This place should not be allowed to do business. Their incapable of responsible bookkeeping. If you decide to join here, you will pay in more ways than one! None of them good! Good luck solving inquiries! I finally received my refund- over a month later, with a stop payment placed on it! Horrid, irresponsible...and not worth the price you’ll eventually pay! You’ve been warned!Regarding your response: obviously I’ve been talking with your “dedicated management team”. Marissa told me a refund was coming for 10 days. She then told me to talk to the regional manager Dean who was not issuing a refund. I explained that I signed up for 12 hours then canceled, within the three day cancellation window. Dean finally agreed to send a refund within another 10 days- 30 days total at this point. I told Dean I disputed the charge with visa and received provisional credit until the refund was received. I got it, cashed it and reported to visa. The very next day, I received an email from Chris in accounting saying he stopped payment on the refund because I disputed the charge! Dean ABSOLUTELY clearly knew I disputed the charge and received a provisional credit due to him refusing to refund me initially! Your “dedicated” staff purposely created a returned deposited item in my bank account having no communication between each other! I’m now waiting to hear back from Dean, again, about if he’s able to remove the stop payment! All your staff had to do was report to visa that they issued a refund just as I did. But instead, they caused a bad situation to be worse! Dean said he would call me back yesterday. Yet...no call! Shocker! As I said, your business practices are a joke! I’ll never return to your club! I had intended to return after surgery. But now, your “dedicated management team” won’t receive another dime of my money!

If you like the treadmills and dont tan then definitely worth it! If you expect more from a gym... not so much.Ive been a member for two months, bought the black card membership so I could make use of the tanning beds.Out of the two months the stand up beds have been out of order do that kind of sucks. The lay down beds always have a wait time, which is fine except each time I've used them they've been left obviously dirty, with sweat from the previous users. As far as working out goes, I've been limited to a choice of treadmills as the other machines are much fewer and always occupied. All in all I'm pretty disappointed. Wound up joining the YMCA and signing up with a tanning salon in the area, I'll definitely cancel my membership as soon as the year is up. I feel like this is a true "Get what you pay for" lesson.

This is a great place. They have massage chairs and then a different type of water massage lounger. Plus all the regular exercise equipment. Price is really good only $25 a month for black star coverage which means you can use the massage chairs, tanning room, and this other red light room. Otherwise it's $10 a month and you just get the exercise equipment. Either way it's a great deal because you can cancel it anytime there's no contract.

Aside from the bias against weight lifters and the fact that they hardly ever answer their phone, this place is a decent gym. More of a gym for the beginner but its good that there is a gym that does focus more on the beginner. Not much for free weights compared to other gyms. More machines, treadmills and ellipticals. I gave 3 stars because of the lack of free weights and the fact that they rarely answer their phone. Aside from that its a good gym with a good atmosphere though.

I have been going to this gym for 3 years now and for the price and convenience of being 24 hours it's worth it. I also love the fact that when I travel I can use my membership just about anywhere I go.However this location is a bit small for the volume of people who attend it. Half the week it is very busy and I find myself struggling to use equipment that I want to use. Weekends is about the only time it's not busy. I've also had problems with the trainers and their classes taking space and equipment from myself and others while it is being used. Just last week I was working out and the trainer brought over her class and placed their equipment directly in front of me and in my way. As I tried to tell her I was using this spot she walked away and ignored me. I was forced to move to another area.I love this gym but unless they move to a bigger location I feel I will have to move to another gym soon.

This is a good gym for the price. You can’t beat $10 a month for the basic membership or the $20 a month for tanning and any planet fitness use. The machines are pretty basic but it’s awesome for the price. I find it to be clean and the employees are always nice to me.

I had not had a gym membership for at least 10 years and decided to give Planet Fitness a try with a black card membership. Overall, it's been a great experience. I have really appreciated the massage chairs and bed, using them after every workout has sped up my recover. Occasionally, machines are broken, but with the high-volume seen that's understandable. The issues that I've had are mostly related to other members and the 30 minute express area. People use the machines without following the rules of the area, sitting on machines for 20 to 30 minutes (or longer) and not being attentive to those using the area for its intended purposes. I've pointed it out to employees, and they really don't seem to care. It's extremely frustrating when working within a limited time and having my workout interrupted because somebody either won't use the other machines not in the express area, or refuse to get off of them for those who are using the area for its intended purpose. This definitely is an area that needs work on. Last week, I had to ask people how long they intended on being on the machines because they had been on them for at least 5 to 10 minutes and refused to move on. Considering in the rules, it states that staff monitor the area to ensure that people are using it correctly...this has never been the case in my experience and I would like to see it upheld by the staff better.
