24 Hour Fitness in Fort Collins offers a wide range of gym equipment, including weights, cardio machines, and additional amenities like a pool, sauna, and basketball court. The staff receives mixed reviews, with some members praising them for their friendliness and professionalism, while others have had negative interactions. Cleanliness and maintenance are major concerns, as many customers report the gym being dirty and equipment often out of order.

Additionally, while the gym is not open 24 hours as its name suggests—a significant drawback for many—membership prices are relatively affordable. However, billing issues and the hassle involved in canceling memberships have also been common complaints. Overall, it offers a variety of fitness options but falls short in several key areas.

Pros:

  • Wide variety of equipment and facilities
  • Affordable membership prices
  • Includes amenities like a pool and sauna
  • Convenient location in Fort Collins
  • Offers diverse classes
  • Friendly and helpful staff as per many reviews
  • Good for basic workout needs
  • Some members find gym etiquette to be top-notch
  • Continuous improvements in management
  • Positive environment and helpful for workout motivation

Cons:

  • Not open 24 hours as advertised
  • Frequent maintenance and cleanliness issues
  • Major billing and cancellation complaints

They will not let you try the facilities if you move to Fort Collins from somewhere else, without signing up for a full month or more. 3 day trial does not apply if you are new to town. I'm glad they refused my business because it led me to Prodigy Fitness which is more than happy to let you checkout/use the facilities before you sign up for a long-term membership. Been giving my money to Prodigy Gym ever since, and couldn't be happier.

I really wanted to like this place because it’s close by, but unfortunately it’s not the place for me... I will say up front though, all the staff were very helpful and good at their jobs. Was there at a busy time, so granted it was extra dirty, but the mirrors on the walls looked as though they hadn’t been cleaned in a great long while. Bathrooms were also “public restroom” status, I’ve seen much cleaner in airports. Also I may have missed it but could only find one drinking fountain by the restrooms, in such a big place I’d prefer at least three. A little thing, but they have no place to put your keys, except little lockers that are not free — it’s a small thing but big turn off for me.Also paradoxically they have a lot of equipment yet I still found myself without a lot of things I was looking for.. Hard to explain, but important nevertheless.Again, I think a lot of people will find good value for the price here, but it’s not my style...

I had been a member for 10 years? Usually pretty clean and equipment in good working order. I went in just to find out my membership expired the day before (went in on a Sunday). The staff verified by the computer that it expired just the day before. The only response to work out was "pay us $20.00 for a day pass". Wow! I had planned on renewing my membership but this is the way a long time member is treated? I'm not asking for anything free but common sense to customer services. I'm now looking at different options

Not even half a star. I could never run my business like them!! Says 24 hr fitness!! What a joke. I joined so I could swim also. Locker rooms are horrible/ filthy. Women clean the locker rooms at night so I’m trapped in the swimming area or forced to change in front of a woman. I complained several times n they are totally apathetic. I paid my year of dues. What a bad experience they only cared about there $’s. I have to work out at night because I run my business by day. You’d think they’d find a man to clean there male locker rooms. The manager Greg could’ve cared less when I spoke to him. Thanks a lot 24hr fitness!! I know a lot of people if asked I’ll make sure to reiterate my experience. 0 stars

Horrible customer service at the front desk. If you bring a guest, they have to sign-in, wait to meet with someone who tries to convince them to join and oh if your guest doesn't have an id they are not able to come in. Definitely canceling my membership!

A lot of equipment, pretty much any exercise machine you could want and a very large free weight array. The pool and hot tub are usually pretty quiet, so often available without needing to share.

The price is right but don't expect fully operable machines or clean surroundings. If you want something nicer go to Miramont. I have been going here for 5+ years and it meets my needs but I could see this place turning a lot of people off.

Over the last two years the overall maintenance and up keep have been neglected. They have continued hot water issues and the men's showers have only worked partially or not at all...but they don't ever miss a month deducting your membership dues.

Enter at your own risk. Did you know that you signed a liability waiver when you joined the GYM? Therefore if you are injured at the GYM due to a FAULTY equipment, they will say to you, these are the exact words they used: "you willingly get on the machine, the liability is your own; you signed a liability waiver when you joined, the liability is your own." It's never their fault. So beware if you are seriously injured or die, the liability is on you. If you fall off a BROKEN stairmaster without a note saying the equipment is out of service, please remember to take a picture immediately with your phone. Because they will lie later that there was a sign on it. Makes it look like you are the idiot who stepped on a broken machine.

Lots of broken equipmentmment and very dirty. Most of the elipticals do not glide smoothly and cross ramps won't adjust. Sinks in locker room are frequently out of order. Sauna is frequently dirty even immediately after the posted cleaning time.
