24 Hour Fitness in Fort Collins offers a wide range of gym equipment, including weights, cardio machines, and additional amenities like a pool, sauna, and basketball court. The staff receives mixed reviews, with some members praising them for their friendliness and professionalism, while others have had negative interactions. Cleanliness and maintenance are major concerns, as many customers report the gym being dirty and equipment often out of order.

Additionally, while the gym is not open 24 hours as its name suggests—a significant drawback for many—membership prices are relatively affordable. However, billing issues and the hassle involved in canceling memberships have also been common complaints. Overall, it offers a variety of fitness options but falls short in several key areas.

Pros:

  • Wide variety of equipment and facilities
  • Affordable membership prices
  • Includes amenities like a pool and sauna
  • Convenient location in Fort Collins
  • Offers diverse classes
  • Friendly and helpful staff as per many reviews
  • Good for basic workout needs
  • Some members find gym etiquette to be top-notch
  • Continuous improvements in management
  • Positive environment and helpful for workout motivation

Cons:

  • Not open 24 hours as advertised
  • Frequent maintenance and cleanliness issues
  • Major billing and cancellation complaints

My husband and I joined at the new location not the old oneDuring the covid the new location on college got closed down for whatever reason!I was told we would not have to continue with our contract because our gym that we signed up at closed! The manager at harmony talked to me but would do nothing for meLast month they took two months out of my account this month they took a month out! We only joined because it was a new club.I am very upset and I would tell everyone I know DO NOT join 24 hr fitness

I was told they would charge me 2months membership when I signed up and then be charged if I acknowledged the payment and wanted to continue my membership after the 2months. But I quit my job and have been charge $50 for the past 6months with no available refund even with them knowing my last Sign In of the gym.

I was paired with Lydia Furrow for personal training and had a 5 star experience. Lydia was encouraging and supportive, fun to work with, thorough, explained things well. She made sure I had things that I could do at home and in the gym. She worked well with any limits I had and modified exercises to fit my abilities, and pushed where she could. She gave me a very detailed plan for when it was time for me to work on my own. I am sure that I will contract with her again for follow-up and learning new ways to increase my work out benefits. The staff at the front desk is friendly, helpful, and I really like everyone I've interacted with. As an "older adult" I was worried that I would feel less important or cared about, but I have felt valued every time I walk through the door.

Really enjoyed this gym but with the new hours I won’t be able to use it. Not sure how you call it 24 hour fitness when it’s only going to be open 20 hours. Also beware of the cleaning staff. I had just showered (alone, it was nearly closing) and was still completely naked in the locker room, trying to get dressed, and 2 female workers came in while I was in the shower and would not leave the locker room until they finished cleaning. Not sure the legality of this, but definitely uncomfortable. The gym closes, why wouldn’t you wait until it’s empty to clean it? Had the genders been reversed this would have been a lawsuit.

I've worked out here for six years. Has definitely gone downhill and they don't seem to care. I used to get customer surveys by email often, none for years. Very dirty...huge chunks of lint on floor, under weights, around machines. They used to have a guy with a backpack vacuum..he kept the place spotless...He's gone. Lot of nice people work out here and price is good. Much less crowded now that the north location open. Too bad they charge a lot more for got that. Ripoff that a membership here isn't good for there.

Weights are not plentiful enough nor are they ever organized. It's a warehouse gym. 4 stars though because the staff is always so friendly and their rates arent bad.

Was going to use the guest pass that states "good at any location" but was denied at the FC location because of my zip code. I have been a member at another gym and was looking to change, won't be to 24hr fitness.

God aweful business practices. Was assured upon purchasing a year-long membership that it would not recur at the end of the year; this was honestly the only reason I bought it. Lo and behold over a year later getting hit month to month at a higher rate because my membership was set up to go month to month at the end of the year. I'd love to go after the person in particular who started my account, but of course they don't keep track of that! Make sure whenever your membership is set to expire that you keep track of it because they will continue to charge you

I’ve been a member of this gym for over 10 years and it’s been a VERY long time since this place felt friendly, clean and professional like it did a few years ago. Thanks for delivering today guys, your effort is appreciated 💛 I’ll update with that 5th star in hopes that your new set of Service Promises stick. You’re definitely on the right track!

Extremely dirty club. Plates everywhere but where they should be racked. The rope attachments for the cable machines look and feel like they are coated in lard. Empty water bottles and miscellaneous clothing items left all over the place on the floor. Several pieces of broken equipment. General manager is very unresponsive to complaints and difficult to reach. Front desk staff acts irritated when I request to speak to a manager or membership team member.
