Wanted to go explore the gyms around Fort Collins and I walked into this gem of a gym! I went in multiple times not climbing just talking to the staff about the gym and left there feeling like I had just made some great new friends! The staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and they just want everyone to succeed and be safe. I've climbed at many different gyms and outdoors but I will be going back to Whetstone in a heartbeat!

I was so impressed with this state of the art climbing gym. The vibe is very chill and the staff is extremely friendly. There was no stone unturned in the building of this climbing gym. There is a workout area, a yoga studio, a childcare room, a retail and a great little wine and beer bar with a family style area to sit down and visit with other climbers. I sure wish I had a climbing gym like this in Castle Rock where I live. Ft. Collins you are so lucky to have this in your own backyard.

Expertly designed rock gym. Tons of bouldering. Lots of top rope stations and plenty of lead mixed throughout. This gym caters to all skill levels and the friendly staff make you feel welcome. Whether you want to do some serious training or it's your first time pulling plastic - you'll be pleased with this place. Great job guys!

Awesome route setting and friendly staff! Bouldering section is great and they also have small boulders for kids. There's a variety of styles and levels so whether you're climbing for the first time or a veteran, you'll find something for you. Can't wait to go back! I definitely recommend checking them out

What a great place to climb!!! The bouldering courses are set thoughtfully and challenging but so much fun as well. If you climb on top of the boudering wall it simulates being on top of a real boulder which adds to the experience. Excellent staff and the rope courses are the best I have seen in a gym. The best part is the layout because it never feels crowded. Thanks for the wonderful experience.

Clean, great systems boards and training facility; both well organized and available. Plenty of bouldering and lots of climbing; both top-roped and lead climbs are plentiful. Setting seems typical. Staff are very courteous, friendly, and accommodating. Gym has 2 auto-belays. Compares very favorably to other front range climbing gyms.

This was a great gym with a great atmosphere and great setting. There is a huge bouldering area with enough problems to keep my husband and I climbing for hours at the V8 to V10 grade. The problems set at the lower grades were also well thought out and fun. The training room was equipped with everything we needed from rings to fingerboards to dumbbells. We were at Whetstone from 11am until 430pm and didn't want to leave. Can't say enough good things about this gym. Y even had complimentary coffee!

Awesome gym with a great feel. I love how it's so spread out so people don't ever feel like they're belaying on top of each other, which has been a problem at other local gyms. They have a ton of awesome amenities and programs, including a physical therapist on site. The climbing routes are very creative and fun which makes climbing indoors much more enjoyable. This is definitely the best climbing gym in Northern Colorado.

This climbing gym has a really cool vibe! It has a bright atmosphere, great climbing and bouldering options, weight room, yoga studio, and cafe/taproom! The staff is really friendly and took the time to make me feel super safe. They seemed to have a lot of regular clientele coming in that they would recognize and chat with. So glad we went to check it out, will definitely be back!

Awesome gym. There's a lot of space so you don't feel you are climbing on top of each other. The bouldering is top-notch. Might be the standout characteristic of the gym. Tons of problems, lots of variety to the boulder faces, and I appreciate being able to top out. Route setting is excellent on routes and boulders. There's a set of kids' boulders, which my youngest enjoys. There's also a training area (e.g., campus board, tension board) off-limits to kids so different parts of the gym can cater to different needs. Overall, we love the gym. I bring my whole family and we all have a great time together even though we range in ability from beginner to V10 crazy strong (not me). The atmosphere is very nice too. Places to hang out and read a climbing magazine, eat lunch, or work on the laptop (yes I do this).
