This gym is hands down the best climbing facility in Fort Collins. The route setting is consistently good and they have something for everyone and every level of climber. Staff is so kind and welcoming. Training boards, hang boards and the exercise room are top of the line and incorporate everything you could want. The layout of the gym makes it feel less cramped as there is SO much room for people to climb. I'm so excited to have a real and genuine climbing gym in Fort Collins that incorporates and support the community. Blows all competition out of the water on every front. Did I mention they serve beer and wine?!

The Whetstone staff are friendly, welcoming, helpful, professional and fun. Climbing gyms can be intimidating even for folks who climb a lot. This place does a great job at developing a great culture! Also, the route setting, bingo, "MyClimb" app and details like the nice hand washing stations with lotion are top notch!

Whetstone is AWESOME! I became a Founding Member because I know someone on Staff. I've never REALLY climbed, and the last time I climbed a very basic climbing wall was 17 years ago. So I just looked at the Bouldering Wall for a while, then got up the guts to get started. It was really fun, and I hope to take advantage of more aspects of the gym soon. The staff members are great, and I highly recommend this gym!!!

I've toured this gym twice while under construction. It will be a top notch facility run by a very dedicated and capable management team. They've thought of everything when it comes to providing a great customer experience. This will be one of the top indoor climbing gyms in CO when complete!

Went on the kids day off from school. Great bouldering and the top rope looked really cool even thought we didn't try it. It's much bigger than it looks from outside. Top notch facility and really friendly staff. Highly recommend this place for newbies and experienced alike.

The owners and staff at Whetstone are nothing but welcoming and friendly. My 12 year old daughter and I are climbing a few times per week. We've been completely supported-- they helped her find an inexpensive pair of used shoes knowing that she will probably outgrow them in a month. The three month summer package is a great deal and we have a lot of fun every time we go. Thanks!

Great indoor walls. Larger facilities with well planned out areas for all levels and types of climbing. Ratings are a little soft, but that’s good, as far as I’m concerned, for gym climbing. Still working out the bugs as to the facilities themselves, but definitely doing a hell of a good job being flexible while figuring it all out. Thanks,Josh

Checked out the construction going on at Whetstone this weekend while I was waiting with my 3-year-old for Fly High Trampoline to open. Upon entering I was greeted by the owner Darrell. First off let me start by saying Darrell was a stand up guy. He was gracious enough to give my daughter and I a tour of the entire facility, as well as a run down of the companies vision. This place is going to be a first class operation that will greatly serve the Nortern Colorado climbing community. Whetstone will definitely have all the amenities, size, and space needed for a fantastic climbing gym. Including a massive climbing area, yoga studio, workout area, great locker rooms, etc. Also, what really set Whetstone apart in my mind was the extras that are included. To serve those with kiddos, there will be a daycare, a kids sized bouldering wall, and top rope section. Perfect for those with kids, or those without kids don’t have to worry about too many kids being underneath them in the other areas. AND to top it all off they will have a bar in there...can’t think of a better way to finish off a good climbing session.I hope all climbers will give this place a visit when it opens! It will definitely not disappoint.

The best rock gym I have ever been to. Awesome bouldering area and does a good job of fostering a positive culture. I think they charge a little too much though, that's really the only thing keeping them from a 5. Would be nice to have more than one shower too, but that's just being picky 😁 …

Great climbing gym, probably the 2nd or 3rd largest in Colorado. There is both lots of bouldering and top rope, and for me ( a beginner/intermediate) there were lots of routes that challenged me and also were just fun and easy for me to climb. There are also many challenging v5+ routes that I didn’t try. The bathrooms are very nice, with provided towels and a VERY nice hot shower. The staff is very kind and friendly and my friend and I both got a discount for national women’s day yesterday! Very nice place, probably my favorite bouldering gym so far:)
