Closing all Active locations in my area sucks since the gyms get so crowded

The gym is not bad just need a bit cleaning it gets a lot of traffic but would be nice to do a little bit Cleaning and pressure washing outside entrance as well especially as u enter the building it actually smells? Not sure but just outside the double doors also bathroom cleaner would be nice also the hot tub exhaust vent are full of dust looking up when you sitting in the hot 🔥 tub hopefully the clean up those little things

The swimming pool water is not clean there are debris on the pool bottom including bandaid tapes. They will not get removed automatically by water circulation ! They need to be cleaned by human....

Customer service is really bad. This guy who said who is the boss there hung up on me three times in a row when I was trying to sort out some things. I spent in excess of half an hour on calls today with them.If things are going well, it is not a bad place. But if you get any problems and need any help, they will throw you under the bus.Keep away from 24 hours fitness in general.

Great place to workout...getting too crowded during peak times.

Way too many kids come to this gym, in groups, you can do a whole lot of WAIT lifting here, the amount of equipment here is good but they don't seem to have proper preventative maintenance planning, I don't think a single pillow block on any machine has ever been greased, machines are good until something breaks then they're out of order for weeks, more than half of the elliptical machines upstairs don't work(you can feel the belt slip or notice how the resistance settings on the screen don't actually do anything anymore) and I'm actually surprised how the people who use them don't seem to notice and use them anyway.

The place was crowded at 8 PM and the equipment looks old and unmaintained. Look for a different chain in the area because all 24 Hour Fitness locations in the are are like this.

Staff is ageist. I have been going to this gym ever since moving to Fremont. I've never had issues with bringing in my friends. I have two guest passes with my membership, and they also have been able to use the "free trial" thing for prospective members. My girlfriend recently started to go to the gym as well. Her parents were curious about why she was working out and wanted to go and see what she was doing there. When she brought them in the staff immediately started interrogating them. They kept asking questions like, "Do you actually live in this area?" and kept pushing them to sign up instead of doing the trial. It was a small Asian women who I always see behind the counter and is usually very nice, but turned a total 180 when she was my GF's parents. She literally stood in front of them and blocked them from entering the gym. After a long while of negotiation my girlfriend was finally able to get them in. Giving it 2 stars simply because I do use this gym a lot for myself, but otherwise would have been a 1.(Edit: going from 2 stars to 1 star. Found out they double signed me up and had me paying $700 a year for two memberships. They assured me my old membership would not auto renew but it still did.)
