Gold's Gym

I like this Gold's Gym. It's very clean and the equipment is new but with that being said you won't find a hack squat machine or a standing calf raise machine. I personally do not like the sled machine they have and does not replace a hack squat. What I will say is that the cardio machines here are very nice and there's plenty to go around.

It was just ridiculous! Pay $20.00 per one day entrance and rejecting the free pass customer? Since I'm planning on moving down to Fullerton in summet, I just wanted to check out the facility and compare the difference between 24 Hour Fitness. They rejected me and asked me to enroll instead of letting me go in to check out the place. I'll never go there with poor customer service.

Great Gym. I have had memberships to both 24 hour fitness ( 6 years) and LA Fitness (6 months)The equipment at Gold's in Fullerton is the best in its class. In the other gyms I have been a member to the equipment was beat up and old. Other gym's offer lower monthly membership fee's... but you get what you pay for OVERCROWDING. I would rather pay more $ and have better equipment and less crowding then to have old beat up (and alot of the time broken equipment) with endless overcrowding. If you want a cheap gym GO TO 24 hour fitness and deal with overcrowding and broken equipment. If you want lame equipment that is out dated GO TO LA Fitness. If you want a state of the art gym with less crowding GO TO GOLD'S. Best gym hands down

This gym is horrible! First, the gym WREAKS of bad breath. I don't just mean subtly. It smells SO BAD you can smell it from outside the doors! Most people here do not believe in good dental hygiene so a collective odor develops on a daily basis. And it is a THICK, PUTRID, DISGUSTING bad breath odor! You will walk out of here feeling like you have strep throat from breathing in this horrifying odor!Second, the wi-fi. It has been "broken" for months. Oh, the staff will condescendingly lie to you that it is being fixed...that a part has not come in yet. COME ON!! If you're not going to offer it just say you are not going to offer it instead of CONSTANTLY lying about it! That's worse!Third, they took away the one good channel offered: the NFL channel!!!Fourth,, I agree with the other reviewer. Almost ALL of the cardio equipment does not work properly in one way or another.And fifth, the entire staff here is horrible. They are very disingenuous. Yes, they will greet you and say hello but the personality there is not a genuine one. And don't even get me started on how UNFRIENDLY the cleaning staff is. Would it bother you to smile even just once in a while??I cannot wait for my membership to end here. Would never recommend this place.

This is the best gym I have ever been to. it is very clean and the people who goes there are serious about their working out. The staff are friendly but professional something 24 hour lacks big time. It is very nice place to work out!!! I also love the energy there! All equipment is very clean. They offer free towels. The cardio equipment is great too. You can watch a movie while doing cardio which is a great plus. Highly recommend this gym. it is the best gym around!!!

Best gym within an hour radius! believe me I've done the field work. If u feel you pay more, you see where your money goes. They have the cleanest gym that exists, free towels and the best modern equipment. Plus it's full of people who are serious about their workout and tons of competitors. I love the energy and inspiration I feel in Golds Gym Fullerton. That's why it's my home gym♡

Avoid this facility and Gold's Gym like the plague. Someone I know was injured in a slip and fall at this facility and management did not take her claim seriously. And the accident was Gold Gym's fault too.First, they ignored her request for an ambulance despite her injury and excruciating pain. Furthermore, Management has not forwarded her complaint to corporate or their insurance company.The person lawyered up and now both the Fullerton facility and gold gym corporate are ignoring her lawyer's phone calls and letters.Shady. Take my advice and stick with 24 hour fitness or la fitness.

First off, membership at this Gold's is not cheap. Imo the best deal you can get now is $299 down and $24.99 monthly. That $299 is one time payment only, so don't let your membership lapse at $24.99 a month.Pay by credit card or ATM card only as this gym is sadly famous for not stopping charges even after you cancel your membership. By credit card or ATM card, you can just call your bank to stop paying them.The gym is well-kept and clean. The equipment are rarely broke. When they are, they are fixed right away.There are plenty of treadmills and cardio machines. Plenty of weight machines too.About the only thing lacking is more peck-deck machines I think. They only have one. They are a few fly/cable machines though.There are enough free weights most of the time too. It does get crowded in there during peak hours. You will have to fight for a bench sometimes.There are plenty of trainers here too. I recommend George and Minh.Update 9-1-2014George no longer works here. Neither does Moe . They have a few more new trainers who badly need clients .

Great gym, friendly staff...crew is constantly cleaning. Honestly, I've never had any issues. I go in, do my thing and get out. I don't see where others are complaining. It's a freaking gym people..if you don't like it go outside, it's free.

DON'T GO TO THIS GYMall this gym has done is to try to rip me off.hear me out. the first I heard of this gym. I was just trying to get a one week workout since I wasn't around school. Their staff explicitly told me that they have no way of getting me one week access. EVEN THOUGH just right behind me there is an advertising saying that you could get one week free trial. OKAY I choose to ignore that and pay the initial fee $160 for ONE MONTH. AND AFTER TWO WEEKS, I got charged $50 for the next month's membership. So whatever. I let it slide. At the end of the month I called and tried to cancel the membership. They say you need 30 day prior notice. So guess what. I get to pay another $50 even though I'm not in the state, and because I called after 9pm, I couldn't cancel until next day. WHICH MEANS ANOTHER $50. Then, the staff told me that there's a cancellation fee of $150.So let's see. In order for me to workout there twice. I paid 160+50+50+50+150 = $460. And the facility isn't even that nice. My school's gym's five times larger and way cleaner. I don't normally post bad reviews, but this is just ridiculous. I'm surprised what people can do for money these days.
