They really try to finesse you so much by lying saying you have to come in and cancel (Jeremiah and girls answering the phone lying after saying I could before but later on saying I couldn't)so they try to take you in and make you pay extra fees, just don’t go here please. Much simpler and better environment of gyms. Finally just canceled, business center is good. I avoid you tell the front desk your issues, and if you be prepare to be lied to so let them know you know what’s up.

It's been my therapy for the past 11+ years. I have been through a divorce, a new job, a new marriage, kids growing up, loss of a pet... you name it, I've had a lot of great therapy sessions at GHFC. My favorite spot. You get all the amenities for a great price. Love 24 hrs as I work nights as a nurse so I never know when I can get to the gym... flexibility of schedule, awesome. Topnotch staff. They are always exceeding my expectations and I write recognitions for them as often as I can. Always renovating and upgrading g makes me feel that the owner hears and sees the need for certain things and hes a li ways striving to make it the best of the best. Best equipment, best staff, best atmosphere, best classes and availability. Feels like home. Love GHFC. Abby Neumann. Love the sauna therapy the most!

You sell your soul into a contract with cancellation fees. However, if you are dedicated and know that you're staying in Gainesville for awhile (they have other membership programs, not just a two+ year contract) this is a good choice for a gym. They have good and varied equipment and the staff/other gym goers are respectful. Also, this gym is 24/7 which is helpful for late-night goers or early risers. I've been going here for a year and a half and have not garnered any ill experiences.

I do not recommend to go to this club at all. All my life I worked in Los Angeles 24 hours fitness, for work we moved to Gainesville. everything seemed to be fine when we had to move again to Orlando and wanted to cancel our membership , and then they say, for cancellation, we have to pay $ 341.99 if we don’t pay, then we have $ 854.35. I have not seen in my life so that they pay so much for cancellation. not satisfied at all with this fitness club . because of this fitness club, because of their rules we cannot we move to another city? Stupid policythe pool is always crowded. very small. price increased. price does not match the conditions. nor is the system well organized. Save your time and money. There are bunch of nicer places where you can work out better than this unbelievable center with wrong policies.

I was looking for a good gym were I had lots of options and felt comfortable working out. I have been going to this gym for the past 2 weeks and I'm really happy with everything. Everything is always clean and a nice environment. The bad reviews about this place is mostly about the price, and that I will have to agree, the most expensive gym I have ever seen. However, you do get what you are paying for, a high quality gym.

It’s expensive, but it’s one of those places where you actually seem to get what you pay for, which is why I give it the full 5 stars. (I will emphasize the price though, and say if you’re not going to go to the gym, you won’t get your money’s worth.) Staff is full of genuinely friendly people who seem willing to help. Classes are free for members, which is nice. The locker areas are really nice, always clean, always room. The gym does get busy but I never feel like I don’t have access to the machines I want to use. Plenty of stuff to go around, in my experience. I will say that I agree with a previous review about “the line” that they will give you a false sense of guidance by having a staff member there. On the first day of my membership I was told to check out the line and the guy helped me with 2 machines before disappearing. I tried again and the same happened. Not ideal but maybe I’ve just been unlucky. Otherwise, really been enjoying the place. The whole situation helps me stay motivated and coming back and reaching goals.

Good place for exercise. They have a lot of machines and the pool and basketball court is accessible to everybody. Expect to see nudity in the locker rooms. Personal trainers are very helpful and care about you. If you want to lose weight or burn fat, you have to come here often.

Definitely the most expensive gym. But it's 24/7, and has plenty of equipment. Some of it is standard stuff, but they have some very good machines to isolate muscles, as well as these unique negative machines that are fantastic.Plenty of classes and cardio equipment, and the pool/jacuzzi/ice bath/steam room/sauna is pretty well maintained and a large area. The pool area is what got me to buy in, but having a basketball court and all the equipment is what really sold me on this place.The place is usually on the busy side from 5 to 9, but outside of that the gym feels between empty and not packed!

A very fantastic gym! I thoroughly enjoy being a member. I do dislike "the line" and the false sense of support I get from the floor trainers working it. I wish they seemed more sincere and genuine, rather than super happy and encouraging constantly - to the point of seeming fake. Other than that, it's a really great place to be!
